I have invested over $30k in myself in the last 1.5 years and it has taught me some valuable lessons which I will expand on below. One thing I did not mention in those photos is investing in myself through mentorships, masterminds, paid communities, and trainings, has also introduced me to some of the best people I have ever met, has taken me to other countries, and has consistently allowed me to challenge my mindset.

1. What you look for you will find. We live in a new world where you can get coaching and mentorship on anything. When you start to deep dive all these course creators and coaches, you will find exactly what you’re looking for. You need to have discernment and be able to think for yourself to know if it’s the right fit for you.

2. I invested $10k and it put me in debt, it did not help me at all, and it in fact led me to step away from what I was even doing. But did I let that stop me from investing $10k just 4 months later into something else? No I just learned to listen to my intuition better and trust the process.

3. There is no magic pill. You have to still put in the work in everything you do. But that said, the best bet you can take in life is on you.

4. If you are in sales, and you sell people all day on investing in yourself, and you do not continue to invest in yourself, you should not be selling people.

Because of these reasons I have also built a little resentment to people who “can’t justify” investing in themselves. I truly can not understand wanting something so bad and not being willing to invest in it.

So my question to you guys is, if you knew you wouldn’t fail, would you go all in on yourself? And if you knew there was a chance of failure would you still take a bet on yourself?

Coming to the end my escape from New York, I have been blessed to spend the last two months in the pacific north west.

I have got to spend valuable time with my family, rest and recharge from a chaotic year. I also have in turn been gifted 8 weeks of time to focus on me, my goal, my skillset, and up-leveling without the typical life pressures. For that i am forever grateful. The butterfly effect is real. Four years ago, I was let go from what I thought was my dream job—and at the time, it felt like the end of the world. But that moment set off a chain of events I could’ve never predicted. A random conversation on a subway platform introduced me to a world of opportunity I didn’t even know existed.

Since then, I’ve experienced highs I never imagined—and lows I’ll never forget. In December 2022, I had $400 to my name and no idea how I’d make it to the next month. And yet, I wouldn’t trade these past four years for anything.

To my community: thank you for seeing me, holding me down, and reminding me of my worth. And to a very specific group of people—I won’t name you here, but you know who you are—thank you for giving me access, believing in my talent, hiring me for the most random gigs, and mentoring me when I needed it most. You have no idea how much that meant.

To everyone who has supported me, jumped on wild projects, said my name in rooms I wasn’t in, and cracked doors open so I could walk through them—I see you. You’ve helped turn my name into a solution, and my life into something I’m proud to live.

So here’s to the choices I made—and to the people who made those choices possible. A mentor once told me, “Stick with it for five years before you decide if this path is for you. If you’re not ready for that, don’t even start.” Well, year five is coming—and I’m still here.
