Peaches and Cream Barbie. My favorite Barbie of all time. When I decided to do my Doll photo series I knew Peaches and Cream Barbie would be my most important photoshoot. She is my favorite doll and also my most expensive doll.I take an IMMENSE amount of pride in saying she is an AUTHENTIC 1984 Peaches and Cream doll. She definitely shows wear and tear but it makes me love her even more. Hello, my name is Jayci B. Jones and I own every holiday Barbie from the beginning of the official collection in 1988 to 2025. I started collecting holiday Barbies because of my grandma and every single year it’s the highlight. 88-89’ - my dress for the @co.drag.royale was inspired by the 1988 holiday Barbie. 90’-94 - my personal favorite out of these ones is 1990 holiday Barbie in the giant beautiful pink dress. My divas awards look in 2024 was inspired by her.95-99 - this feature is one of the only dolls that my dad has given me 1999 holiday Barbie. Things may not be perfect between us, but sometimes he doesn’t know when to hit it out of the park.00-04 - let’s talk special editions, 2004 holiday Barbie has two separate editions one that is recognized as the official holiday Barbie and the other one is recognized as a Macy’s exclusive. Technically, you only need one to have a full collection, but I have both.06-10 - so I somehow lost track as we were doing the photo shoot and didn’t put 2005 in with the big pictures but don’t worry she’s at the end of this. I have her 🤣 also 2007 holiday Barbie is my favorite from the 2000s11-15 - in my opinion this is where you can start to see holiday Barbie, kind of go downhill a little bit, but every Barbie is at least redeemable16-20 - once again special editions, 2016 holiday Barbie came in beautiful snow, globe packaging, and they were deemed the faith love and hope dolls. Most collectors agree that you have to have all three to have a complete collection. My favorite from the 2010‘s era is 2019.21-25 - can I just say this is my holiday Barbie truly takes a turn for the worst in my opinion. The only two dolls from the 2020s thus far that I love are 2022 and 2024 and 2025 has the distinction of being the first holiday Barbie I genuinely hate. The others are good but not like great. BONUS COLLECTION! Holiday Bratz Currently, I own every single holiday Bratz doll as well, bratz has kind of a weird record, they began in 2004 and ended in 2006.
