I have a large painting project I am currently working on,
so in order to mentally prepare for the preliminary stage,
I decided to revisit this botanical study in order to bring it to completion. I always thought I prematurely uploaded it due to unforeseen life circumstances, so I’m happy that the chance to bring it to justice presented itself.
There were loads to challenges. Firstly the plant has long been dead(2020) and secondly, I took zero photographic references.
Fortunately, using my instincts and visual memory to guide me was enough.

As usual, thank you for your continued support!
I know it’s not terribly exciting but the next ones will be completely new at least. I hope the wait for the next post isn’t too far off!

It’s been so long that I had to relearn how to post haha!

I was reluctant to post this one on my instagram since it doesn’t fit with the theme of my personal work, but I invested a lot of my energy onto it so might as well.

This is a 3D recreation of Steve McQueen’s one-of-a-kind Harley Davidson bike.

Super, Duper Happy to announce that I’m finally done with school. I’ve been studying for way over 9 years now and it’s honestly been such a long, draining ride. Extremely enjoyable but happy to be done with it.
I pushed my self to the extreme. Sometimes averaging at 4 hours of sleep for months back to back and as low as 2-3 hours of sleep, surviving on coffee, getting fat(exercising in between breaks) and pushing through many insane burn outs. Now my free time just sky rocketed to infinity.
I think what happened to me beginning of this year(2021) was the result of the intensity catching up. But all is well.
I’ve been sleeping like Frodo after he destroyed the one ring 🌋these past couple of days and being surrounded by close friends and family made it— and will always be, in my opinion, totally worth it!

Thanks to everyone who were there along the way!
To my dad, my aunt and to my mother who was with me from the very beginning, thank you!

Finally, thank you, my fellow followers.
Thank you for taking an interest in my work. More challenging works ahead

Thanks again for the incredible outpouring of love and support. I think it’s about time I post these. They are just the turntables. First one is lighting and second one is turntable. None of the flashy camera angles. The limited aspect ratio and video compression(SO BAD!) doesnt make me too happy since seeing it at its peak is much more enjoyable but thats what the images are for in my previous post. Whats important is making my peace with it and having it available for everyone to see. Enjoy. taken in Athens, Greece by @jaycudal

Here’s my project as a whole. Not sure if I will post the animated stuff(nothing fancy. just rotations, lights moving around etc). Ill think about the right time to show those things.

Drawings from imagination. First one, portrait, is a little bit smaller than a Canadian penny, and Second is a compositional study of a girl with a cat(might pursue a completed version once I get a JOB!!!), inspired by lady with an ermine by da vinci.-

For a lot of people, this is their favourite. It’s funny cause I once carelessly had it collecting dust on my table without any form of protection. I believe I have no desire to complete it as a form of record on where I was. Which may be anti climactic for those that like it, but perhaps its better to keep it as it is the first time around so that people can continue to enjoy it. In the end the art is completed by the viewer and not the artist....

Here’s another upload. This drawing gets a significant boost in quality in comparison to what I originally posted. There is a quality I really like with line drawing particularly with how it flows across the page. It is the most fun way to draw in my opinion. When I explain to people, I like to compare it to parkour in that one wrong step can drastically ruin the entire thing, but the rush generated by creating the exact line that you want is intensely rewarding. This is the last week for re-uploads. In this painting, even though it was an assignment, I wanted to capture her essence just as much as I wanted to capture her beauty because without it, it would just be a picture without a soul— just a pretty person and I know she is more than that. I pushed myself really hard to improve as much as possible and as a result reworked many areas just to get the feel i wanted. I never finished within the time, but overall I’m happy with the outcome and what I gained. (Originally completed June 15, 2015)-

Posting this one for a friend(shira). I drew this pose three times. Each time increasing the duration of time. It was a fun experiment, but overall I don’t consider it a major/serious drawing because of that so I took it out. But here it is for your own enjoyment with a better shot of it. -
