To say that I am officially an Alumna of Thee Mecca is truly an honor. I feel so thankful for every step I have taken in my journey here.

To my father, words could never be enough to express how much I wish you were here to see this moment. I pray I am making you proud! Please know that everything I do is in your name!

To my mother, you are the reason I chose an HBCU to begin with. Thank you for showing me what it means to create a legacy bigger than yourself. It is truly an honor to follow in your footsteps! Thank you for keeping me grounded and rooted in nothing but love and light, it will always be us.

To my village, thank you for all of the laughs, cries, and support every single step of the way. I wouldn’t be here without you.
