I’m a week late but on the 18th of this month had me celebrating 8 years post op my first top surgery, yes I said first, I end up getting two additional operations done to make the scarring and the look of my chest where I wanted it and I’m so happy about every part of the process. Year after year, getting to cheer at Denver Pride with my CHEER Colorado fam, well there’s nothing quite like it. That rush of adrenaline and most importantly getting to see the joy we bring to people of all ages, truly raising spirits a mile high. 📣🌈🏳️‍⚧️

I love being part of a nonprofit, that helps the queer community in my native state, and it’s via my favorite sport? Like come on, I’m living the dream.😍

To my teammates, I’m so damn proud of what we pulled off this season. Y’all amaze me every time.
Also there’s too many of you to tag and I didn’t want to pick and choose… so I tagged no one. You know who you are and what you look like😂

Pride season started with one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life — I got to meet some amazing people, develop new friendships and share a weekend full of joy, connection, and queerness, with my cheerleading family!

But the biggest flex? Standing right in front of the White House, surrounded by people from all over the world, waving our flags, being ourselves — loud, proud, and unapologetically queer. I got to cheer, advocate, and exist as a trans person and trans athlete on the very steps of the place trying to strip my rights, and the rights of my trans and ethnic siblings, away.

Let me be clear: the harder they try to silence or suppress us, the louder and prouder we will become. We’re not going anywhere. 🌈🏳️‍⚧️✊🏾

This year, for Transgender Day of Visibility, I don’t want to just celebrate myself and all my trans siblings, but EVERYONE who makes me feel VISIBLE!!!

I am so honored, blessed, lucky, and all those other synonyms to have such a strong, loving, and large support system. Throughout my journey, I have always had—and have gained—some of the most incredible people this world has to offer. These are the people who hold me up and make me feel seen.
• My parents, who have shown me time and time again what unconditional love is by staying by my side and helping me through every step of this transition—and my life in general!
• My friends, teammates, teachers, and colleagues, who constantly cheer me on, hype me up, send me the best vibes, put up with all my shenanigans (some even take part), and push me to be the best version of myself.
• Other family members (both blood and chosen), such as my brother, grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles, who have never made me feel uncomfortable while watching me go through this process.
• My doctors and surgeons, who have provided the gender-affirming health care that has made me feel at home in my skin and one with my body.

To know that my situation is an anomaly simultaneously fills me with sorrow for those who don’t have the same privilege as I do and with unlimited gratitude for the community I have.

Thank you to EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU who make me VISIBLE! I love you all more than you know!💚

Getting to go to Las Vegas, with your friends, to play the sport you love, be around other queer athletes from across the states and to go party!! My stunt group got third over all for comp, I got to accept an award on behalf of Pride Cheerleading Association, played in the first ever all transgender soccer match, learned I can not play soccer, made new friends and deepened the connection with known friends. 9/13/24 I got my second stage of Phalloplasty (more commonly known as bottom surgery) it’s now 10/13/24 and I’m finally getting around to posting about it! I’m so grateful for this opportunity and having such an amazing support system! I still got a long recovery ahead and a couple more surgeries to go, but the biggest, longest and hardest (pun fully intend) surgery of my life is done!
