I truly can’t believe 15 years of dance has flown by as fast as they have. My love for my team, my teachers, and this community is endless and have been such an important part of shaping the artist I am today. I’m grateful I get to look back and cherish every process, practice, and experience with you all because you have truly made this chapter of my life unforgettable.

To my teammates, when I first started dancing, I never imagined it would give me people I’ll call my best friends for life. Growing up alongside all of you has been one of the greatest gifts dance has given me. Thank you for challenging me, believing in me, and inspiring me every single day. Watching each of you grow into the incredible dancers and people you are today has been such a privilege, and I know I’ll continue to find so much joy in everything you do.

To my teachers, thank you for making BDA feel like home and for being such an important part of my growth over the years. Your passion, dedication, and love for dance have shaped the way I approach this art form, and the lessons you have taught me will stay with me far beyond the studio. I will forever be grateful for the impact you have had on my life.

I feel so lucky to have gotten to end not only this season, but my time with BDA, at a place like The Dance Awards. Being surrounded by so many incredible artists and learning from such talented faculty was the most unforgettable way to close this part of my life. It reminded me why I fell in love with dance all those years ago and left me even more excited for what’s ahead.

There are no words to express how much I’ll miss this part of my life. Although my time as a competitive dancer at BDA is coming to an end, Burlington Dance Academy will always be my home. I can’t wait to cheer you all on and watch everything you go on to accomplish.
