Happy World Puppetry Day! I figured it was far time I did an updated demo reel, so here it is! I would absolutely LOOOOVE to get more puppetry work this year. I trained with the Hensons at 16 years old, by the likes of Kevin Clash, Drew Massey, Alan Trautman, and Grant Baciocco. At 19, I did a puppetry course with Sesame Workshop, led by Matt Vogel, Stephanie D'Abruzzo, Martin Robinson, and Peter Linz. I've worked in television, film, online content, and on stage. I'm available, eager, and still young! It would be a pleasure to work on your next puppet projects with you. #worldpuppetryday #puppetry #puppeteer #jimhensoncompany by @jaydenlibran

One of my biggest highlights of 2025 was getting to take part in the General Mills/Jim Henson Company collaboration, performing the role of BOO BERRY! Being able to perform such an iconic character was as big of an honor as getting to celebrate and take part in The Jim Henson Company's 70th Anniversary. On top of that, this came a whole 10 years after I first stepped through the Henson gates and auditioned at just 16 years old. Forever grateful for this opportunity! #thejimhensoncompany #booberry #monstercereal #generalmills #puppetry by @jaydenlibran

In honor of Jim Henson's 90th, let's take a walk down memory lane, shall we? My first visit to The Jim Henson Company was in 2015, as part of an audition for a puppeteer training workshop. I was 16 years old and on summer break, after finishing my junior year of high school. When it was announced that the Henson Company was seeking diverse talent to train in puppetry and improv, I made it my top priority that summer to get in. Up until that point, the very idea of even getting to step through those gates was all but a dream I had. I typed up a resumé (consisting of youtube videos and church puppetry) and brought one of my original characters along, just in case. I remember being starstruck the moment I saw Brian Henson and Kevin Clash walk over to speak about what we'd be doing. My thinking was that even if I didn't get in, at least I would have gotten the chance to visit the studio and see the performers up close. #jimhenson90 #jimhensoncompany #sesamestreet #muppets #Henson To my luck and surprise, I was given the opportunity to partake in a bi-weekly 8 week course on puppetry and improv, headed up by Groundlings veteran @patrick.bristow, and Henson mainstays @allantrautman, @throwingtoasters, and Kevin Clash. Despite being the youngest there, I was never treated as though I was the kid in the room. Everyone there treated me as an equal, and showed me a level of respect and decency that I had never been met with before. I was finally getting my first glimpses of the professional entertainment environment. In 2016, after the workshop was completed, I met with Lisa Henson for the first time and got to visit the set of Splash and Bubbles. @johnnytartags gave me and my mother a demonstration of the Henson Digital Performance Studio (or HDPS) which allows puppeteers to operate digital puppets on screen. Before my visit was up, I got to try out one of the digital puppets for the first time. Sometime in early 2017, when I was finally 18 I bought a ticket to see @puppetup for the first time. I was seated in the very last table at the back of the room. Everything about the show was amazing, and I was absolutely mesmerized by it. Being seated in the back came as a b by @jaydenlibran

Jim Henson- the creator of The Muppets, Fraggle Rock, The Dark Crystal, and more- would have turned 90 today. His legacy transcends his extensive body of work, and becomes something of a philosophy itself: treat others with kindness and see the best in people. It's a simple notion that we should all strive for, and certainly the most impactful for every aspect of life. The characters he created and performed all showcase a different aspect of Jim's life and personality, from his early childhood upbringing in rural America, to the psychedelic countercuture of the 1960s. It is a testament to how revolutionary he was as a creative that audiences today are still yearning for more from his colorful creations. His legacy is one that I have been honored to contribute to in a handful of ways over the years, and I am grateful for the many ways that his family and colleagues have continued his vision. #jimhenson90 #jimhenson #Muppets #muppetcollection #kermitthefrog by @jaydenlibran

Yesterday I attended my very first Bob Baker Day event in LA! It was a joyous reminder of the way the arts manages to bring people together, in celebration of the spirit of human creativity. Got to meet and reunite with so many people I've known for years, and had an all-around wonderful time. Highly recommend you make you way to the next Bob Baker Day, as well as the historic Bob Baker Marionette Theater in Los Angeles! #puppets #bobbakermarionettetheater #puppetry #bobbakerday by @jaydenlibran

I heard there might be a new opening for the announcer role on Wheel of Fortune? I'd be interested in trying out! It's a long shot, of course, but I've sat behind the iconic mic once before, and crazier things have happened. @wheeloffortune #wheeloffortune #voiceover #announcer #gameshow #fyp by @jaydenlibran

"The Muppet Show" premiered on this day, 50 years ago, back in 1976. The effort to get the Muppets on prime time television dates back years prior, as Muppet creator Jim Henson and the team tried to distinguish their Muppet brand as being something for all audiences, rather than young children. After a slew of rejected pilots and pitches throughout the early to mid-seventies, The Muppets were given the green light by British television mogul, Lord Lew Grade, who allowed for the show to be produced in England. With its weekly guest stars, The Muppet Show quickly became something of right of passage among celebrities, many of which credit the show as being career highlights. Among many of the show's accomplishments are multiple Emmy award wins, 5 seasons, 120 episodes, movie spin-offs, and viewership in over 100 countries. And of course, a boat load of really fun merchandise came with it. Here's another look at my vintage Muppet Show era merchandise, including a few rare Sigma mugs and ornaments, vinyl records, marionettes, plaster cast kits, and the Bendy Toys dolls. Happy 50th to The Muppet Show, here's hoping there's much more in store ahead for the gang! #Muppets #TheMuppetShow #Muppetcollector #Muppetcollection #Muppettoys by @jaydenlibran
