Pinch me moment this week! After shopping McGee & Co. online for years, getting to experience the new store in person was such a treat. The amount of work and soul Shea and the McGee team poured into this space doesn’t go unnoticed. Every corner invites you to sit and stay awhile, filled with treasures that feel personal enough to make your own home unique.

I met Shea almost 10 years ago, and it’s pretty incredible to see what can happen when you go for your dreams. It’s a brave thing to do—and I’ll always be cheering that on. 🤍 Congratulations, I can’t wait to be back!

Week 4 of the Centerville Home -we’re wrapping things up with the office + laundry room.

We wanted to make a bold, dramatic statement with the office, it’s the first room you see when you walk in. I think we achieved that - the transformation still gives me chills! Moody, warm, and very hard to leave at 5pm.

And the laundry room? She got her moment too. Cheerful painted cabinetry, brass details, hidden storage, and a setup that makes laundry day feel slightly less offensive.

Two rooms that are as beautiful as they are hardworking. 🤎

This is for the room that doesn’t need to start over to feel completely new.

In the primary bedroom + bath, we worked with what was already there, working pieces we loved into the new vision. Paint and architectural details did the heavy lifting.

The biggest difference I see: choosing a central focal point for the room(the tray ceiling), removing the competing wall treatment, & opting for a soothing wall color all around. This bedroom feels a little lighter, warmer, and more intentional. 🤍

Turns out the hardest part of designing a kitchen is eventually having to leave it. 🤭

Starting by rearranging the kitchen to accommodate panel ready appliances, a hidden pantry, & storage to the ceiling… finishing it up with warm wood tones, creamy whites, a lot of texture and approximately 37 attempts at getting that branch just right. This Centerville kitchen is the star of the show. Collected, inviting, and basically everything I want a kitchen to feel like.

And yes, the green apples were absolutely part of the vision. 🍏
