Only in NYC.

Randomly ended up on a new show @nqa_nyc hosted by @mattwasfunny in the street… won $250… and somehow the phrase “Winner Winner Chicken Dinner” became part of my legacy.

13.1 in Brooklyn.

This one met me where I was.

There’s been a lot of tension in the world, and I’ve been intentional about finding spaces that let me release. Away from the headlines, away from the noise, and back into community in a city I love… even as it continues to evolve in ways I don’t always recognize.

But one thing hasn’t changed: us.

Some of the most impactful moments weren’t even captured. I hit a stretch where my stride broke and the energy dipped. And just like that, my running neighbors showed up. Cheers, pats on the back, calling me forward. Strangers… but not really. I found my rhythm again because we carried each other.

That part.

In a time where community feels tested, I’m grateful for the reminder: we are still keepers of one another. We do show up. We do support each other. We have more in common than what separates us.

And it shouldn’t go unsaid, the @brooklynexperiencehalf team delivered. From the expo to race day, the experience was rooted in care, intention, and real hospitality. Thank you!

I needed this.

Proud of myself for pushing through. 🏁 by @jayedavaughn

2025 transformed me. It stretched me, challenged me, and demanded growth but it also revealed what anchors me. I rediscovered joy. I found clarity of purpose. I learned alignment that can’t be shaken.

I’m stepping into 2026 postured with intention and positioned on purpose. Challenges may still come, but the seeds planted have roots now, and what’s rooted can only rise.

Here’s to alignment, expansion, and everything we’ve prayed for finally taking shape.

Happy New Year’s Eve, family. 🥂✨
Onward.

✨Honored to be featured in Bold Journey!

In this piece, I open up about navigating between legacy media and independent spaces — and how my values continue to shape every lane I build in. From founding @DaVaughnDesigns to partnering with @VerbEnergy, serving through @WellClothd, and other endeavors, this chapter is rooted in purpose, impact, and intention.

I share lessons on cutting distractions, creating from clarity, and designing a life that sustains both vision and wellbeing.

It’s a reflection on purpose, pivots, and legacy — and I believe there’s something in it that will speak to you and where you are right now.

I’m BACK 🗣️

Unlearning past love and toxic environments opens doors no man can shut. ESCAPE ROOM • OUT NOW — AOTY quality, no question.

When I met @teyanataylor, I told her, “you had to suffer for this.” She smirked and hit me with a “Chillllleeeeee” — but the truth is, it’s bigger than the music.

@escaperoomalbum reminded me that pauses aren’t punishment, they’re positioning. That the seasons of silence, rejection, or burnout are not the end — they’re alignment. I’ve been on my own journey of rediscovery, learning that when you align your gifts with what truly feeds you, doors open that no one can close.

To every dreamer, creative, and builder grinding: sometimes the pause is the work. The detour is part of the destiny. Trust that your gift will make room for you.

TEYANA, thank you for bleeding truth into this project. You are creativity personified, and this body of work is a reminder that escape can also mean freedom, healing, and rebirth.

For the last 9 months, I’ve been on an incredible journey of rebirth, and owe this awakening and these blessings to God and God alone 🤍 it’s UP family 😉 Be encouraged, it’s a fixed fight and you’ve already won! 🥇

🛬 Just touched down in BALTIMORE.

@stateoftheppl National Assembly isn’t just another conference — it’s a call to action.
We’re gathering for strategy, service, and soul.
From Black farmers to healing spaces. From plenaries to power-building plans.
From fish fry to mutual aid — with live music, good food, and our full selves on display. 🪭

Because Black culture is resistance.
Because healing is strategy.
Because we define our agenda — and we set the terms.

This is more than a moment.
This is the formal launch of Black infrastructure —cultural, communal, and built to last.
This is movement. This is us.
This is the National Assembly.

@stateoftheppl isn’t just a tour.
It’s a heart cry. A healing. A Homecoming.

We’re living in a time where isolation is loud, algorithms drown out real conversation, and division is dressed up as dialogue. As a result many of us have forgotten how to talk—with honesty, heart, and humility.

I’ve heard the noise. I’ve had the tough conversations. But at some point, we have to ask: do we keep choosing division—or dare to move forward together?

I didn’t join this movement because I agreed with every idea. I joined because I love my people. I need my people. And I believe in what can happen when we meet at the intersection of discomfort and destiny.

@stateoftheppl created that space—not just in protest—but also in praise, purpose, and possibility.

To @angelarye—our progenitor—thank you for choosing to plant when the world is quick to pluck. You lit the match, you made room, and trusted us to carry the flame. Thank you for entrusting me with a piece of your vision. I’m honored to serve and forever humbled by this experience.

To @desireepeterkinbell —thank you for seeing me, nourishing the gift, and leading with both brilliance and backbone.

To @joyannreid—your presence is balm and beacon. Ya’ll check out the all-new @joyreidshow!

To @justcallmelolo—the master producer—thank you for producing power in motion. I admire what you do and thank you, I see you!

And to the entire team: every hand, heart, and voice—too many to name, but none unnoticed: you didn’t just support the vision, you moved it forward. It’s been an honor serving together.

They say the people are sitting this one out 🪭—but I see us rising. Joy. Strategy. Community.
Not for optics, but with intention.

✅ Groceries to thousands
✅ 10K+ mobilized across 12+ cities
✅ Relief, strategy, platforms for artists + organizers
✅ Conversations that can’t be ignored + more

This isn’t just a moment. It’s a mandate.

📍 Los Angeles | June 6–7
📍 Baltimore | June 19–21

If you’ve been waiting for the “right” time—this is it.
Not perfection. Participation.
Not total agreement. Alignment.

Let’s talk. Let’s listen. Let’s try again.
The only way forward—is together. 🫶🏽

Beyoncé is the greatest producer and storyteller—dead or alive.

We live in a world that tells us who to be, what to wear, how to move. Pretty Hurts. And for a Black girl from Houston? You can be country, but only if they say so. You can have ambition, but not too much. You can win, but not too loudly.

But Beyoncé? She don’t shrink. She Renaissance’d the system, then turned around and Cartered it up—declaring without apology: she BEEN country. 🤠

And me? I’m done shrinking too. Done playing small so others feel big. Done dulling my shine to make the room comfortable.

The COWBOY CARTER TOUR is more than a concert—it’s a reclamation. A history lesson. A boot-stomping, genre-bending, root-deep reckoning.

I saw it twice in one week @metlifestadium. And still, I’m processing the freedom, the fury, the finesse. Iykyk.

From Ya Ya to American Requiem, top hits, and fan favorites, every detail felt intentional. Every interlude? A sermon. Every transition? Seamless. Every note? Mastery.

This wasn’t just Beyoncé telling her story. This was her telling ours—and reminding us: you can’t fence in freedom.

She’s not just a performer—what she does is spiritual, cinematic, political, ancestral. It’s not just a performance. It’s production with purpose, storytelling at its highest form. That’s why she’s the greatest.

And if you’re really paying attention, you can feel it—she’s taking it in differently this time. There’s a reverence in her energy that feels like she’s savoring this era, maybe because the next act could be a farewell—not forever, but for a while.

If you’ve seen the tour, I’d love to hear what you felt. What moment hit you the hardest? What stayed with you after the lights went down? Drop your thoughts below 🐝💛👇🏽

📣 I’ve searched for a movement rooted in love, strategy, and real impact—and I found it.

I’m honored to serve as Tech & Innovation / Production Lead for the @stateoftheppl POWER Tour—a national movement bringing truth, tools, and transformation directly to our communities.

This isn’t performative—it’s purposeful. We’re shaping narrative, fueling change, and building real power from the ground up.

📍To my tri-state fam: Newark, NJ — May 13.
It’s going to be explosive. We’re calling in the culture, the organizers, and the community. We need YOU there.

I’m in. Are you?
