SUMMER 2026

I was supposed to relax and save money this summer but went out waaaay more than intended, there was so much love this summer, it sucks I'm limited to only 20 posts. My life has become very full and rich. Late nights at Tekos house, visits from international friends I've met once, my skate community, all the late night adventures and drives. I also spent a lot of time with my online friends which doesn't show up in pictures, during this time a friend I've had since 2006 gave me the best compliment I ever received "it's been amazing to watch you blossom these past 5 years". When I graduated university so many people told me they were proud of me but I really could not grasp why, I was never proud of anything I don't even understand the feeling. but when I look at the life that I'm living now, that's something I'm proud of, I can actually understand what that feels like now.

30! A small look back at some of my adventures in my 20s.

I don't have many pictures from the time I was 20-24. I always thought I would end my life before 30 so it's crazy to look back and see how many new things I did in the past few years. It's also weird how I can express happy emotions so easily now, my 20s have been so long and I've faced so many challenges to become a better person than I was the day before. Usually I would have no vision for the future because I didn't expect to be around but for the first time in my life I have some goals, some idea about where I might be in the next year or two (planning for 5 years is still impossible). It's great to have so many people supporting me with whatever I want to do, I'm always surprised at how lucky I am to be surrounded by so many kind people. Of course I worked very hard to be where I am today but it's also because of the efforts of people who loved me. I'll always be so thankful for my highschool friends especially, when I thought I was useless and had no future, that I would never amount to anything they still told me they believed I would be successful 😭. Accepting other people's love is still something I'm learning to be good at so sorry if I'm weird about it. by @jayemeff
