Went to the @houstonhorrorfilmfest last night. Had to try and get everyone i wanted to meet in one evening since I've got a show in Corpus Saturday. @hwinkler4real signed a picture of me dressed up as The Fonz when I was about 3. Got to meet the 3 stars of one of my favorite movies, The Doom Generation, @realjamesduval @rosemcgowan and @johnschaech. And then 3 of the "Final Girls" from the Friday the 13th series (8 of them were there!). Adrienne King, Amy Steel, and Kimberly Beck. Tried to get Dana Kimmell from Part 3, but her line was cut off by the time I tried getting in line at 9:45pm since they closed at 10pm. Everyone was super sweet! Also got to tell all of The Doom Generation stars about the @benkweller song Wasted and Ready, which was inspired by the movie. Hopefully they check out the song! by @jayfra

Cannot describe how excited I am for tonight. One of my favorite bands is reuniting. I was the first DJ to play them on The Buzz, and I got to introduce them for their headlining set on the side stage at Buzz Fest '96. They became good friends, and I'm so glad I've been able to reconnect with them this year (they' ve been practicing literally 3 doors down from my rehearsal room). Tonight IS the night! taken in Sawyer Park Icehouse by @jayfra
