When we finally made it to the Starbucks Reserve in Japan!!

I wish breakfast always looked this great (and yes, cake is for breakfast). Can't make a visit without trying the coffee flight. My favourite was the Tokyo one.

Starting off the new year with some tea, bite sized sandwiches and good company 😋

Flaky scones, savory sandwiches and a light sweet treat to finish it all off with. Ritz never disappoints when it comes to tea time ❤️

Got me at creme brulee French toast. The top did crack like a creme brulee. This French toast tasted more like a rich creme caramel pudding then any normal French toast, which was very surprising!

Also got a dirty hojicha - bit more bitter than I thought it would be but nothing a little bit of sugar couldn't fix. I think I'll try just a hojicha next time, but the strengtb of the espresso definitely caught me by surprise !

FUK pudding and mocha? Yessss!

This was a decadent breakfast but the vibes in this coffee shop was so relaxing. It makes you think you're getting ready to fly out at the airport, hence FUK (the fukuoka airport abbreviation)

The coffee was great, a good blend of chocolate and espresso with the cutest artwork on top.

The custard pudding is what this place is known for and it did not disappoint. Nice caramel top, creamy custard center. It was so rich in flavor 🤤

This cafe is small, so if you come late you won't get a seat (I think I got there a little after they opened at 8 am and I got the last seat)

Happy pancake

Definitely happy about waking up to a latte and tiramisu fluffy pancake (although it probably would have been better to have it as an afternoon snack then for breakfast cause it was super decadent).

Also got a savory pancake with mushroom cheese omelette.

The cooler weather is making me think of the time we lined up for ramen at Shin Shin. They have the Hakata style broth, creamy rich tonkatsu with thin noodles. Ramen never disappoints in Japan, and neither did this one. We also got a side of fried rice and gyoza. Fried rice was so good and flavorful. The gyozas were crispy and juicy on the inside. 🤤

Also, the price was so reasonable, we were tempted to come every night!

Curry fishballs is such a staple to eat in HK. They were bouncy and so flavorful (not to mention spicy). Standing on the streets, eating with skewers is definitely a must!

Something about the sweet popcorn in Hong kong theaters that always makes movies so much better to watch! Even though this tiny popcorn cost a leg, it was worth it 👌

Duck duck...goose!

Wanted to get some siu Mei and stumbled upon here near the Wan Chai market. This place was packed with people and a long line up when we left.

I got the two meats, rice and veggies bowl. Ordered their famous roasted goose and char siu as the second meat. These were so good. The char siu is so soft and flavorful, a little on the sweet side. The roasted goose was so juicy and meat was tender. I can see why their goose is a famous dish for them!
