Today at 1 PM, I graduated from thee Tennessee State University. This moment holds every late night, every tear, every prayer, and every ounce of strength it took to keep going when things felt uncertain. There were times I doubted myself, times I felt overwhelmed, but I never gave up, and that means everything to me today.

I didn’t get here alone. My family, my friends, and every person who poured into me along the way, you are a part of this achievement. Thank you for believing in me, loving me, and reminding me who I am when I needed it most.

Walking across that stage was not just about receiving a degree, it was about honoring every sacrifice, every lesson, and every version of me that refused to quit. I am leaving here stronger, wiser, and ready for everything that is ahead. This is only the beginning. by @jayla.kel

Dear Ole Alpha Psi 🩷💚

Big S/O to me, Creating my own legacy still feels unreal. This journey stretched me, built me, and showed me what sisterhood, purpose, and legacy really mean. Being an Alpha woman is choosing grace, strength, and excellence in everything I do… it’s bigger than me, it’s a lifelong commitment.

To my S.K.E.E. 💚💗, we really did that. Through everything, we stayed solid, and we always gone ride behind our 95… no question. I love that about us. What we built is real, and it’s forever.

To my Special Pro @talayahmason 💗, thank you for never letting me walk this journey alone. You poured into me, reminded me of my strength, and have been the best friend I didn’t even know I needed. I’m forever grateful for you.

Caboose 🤭 the back of the line is where the REAL party is at. Holding the 95 down with personality, energy, and just the right amount of chaos… I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I never thought I’d have sisters like this, but now I thank God for it every single day.🥹

The babies have finally grown up🍼

To the 38 babies: my first family away from home… life changed when I met yall crazy tails. Through the parties, the arguments, the late nights, the stress, the laughter, and everything in between we built something real. Not perfect, but real and that is what makes it ours. We pushed each other, stood by each other, and somehow always found our way back every time. No matter what we went through, I would choose y’all over and over again.

Y’all gave me a home when I didn’t even realize I needed one. Y’all helped shape me, challenge me, and love me in ways I will carry forever. Every memory means more because it was with y’all.

To my special kids: I hope y’all keep the traditions alive and continue to be the heartbeat of the campus. Keep showing up for each other, keep that same love, and never forget what this family stands for.

Joining this organization gave me more than I ever expected. It gave me lifelong bonds, unforgettable memories, and a version of myself I am proud of.

1 week away from Graduation 🎓

As I reflect on my 4 years at Tennessee State University, I can’t help but laugh a little… because how did I go from “I’ll just see how this goes” to “okay wait… I really did that”?

These years at TSU challenged me, refined me, and definitely humbled me more than a few times, but they also shaped me into who I am today. Somewhere between the late night study sessions, early morning responsibilities, and moments where I wanted to quit, I found discipline, purpose, and a version of myself I’m actually proud of.

TSU gave me more than memories it gave me stories, growth, and lifelong connections. And while I might not have had it all figured out, I figured enough out to make it to this moment.
