wow, I just got back from the most life changing weeks of my life. I had the opportunity to go on a missions trip where we got to build a house for such a precious family in need. I have never been out of the country or even on a plane so I was definitely a little nervous about that. But what I experienced was beyond anything I could’ve imagined. If you would’ve told me a year ago I had went on a missions trip out of the country I wouldn’t have belived you. But that’s the power in saying yes. Saying yes to God, yes to the unknown, and yes to stepping out in faith. Gods love was shared in so many powerful ways, and I saw his hand at work in every moment. This trip open my eyes to a bigger world and a deeper purpose. I’m coming home changed, humbled and incredibly grateful. I know this is just the beginning! All glory to God, until I see you again i love you Guatemala!

forever holding this sport close to my heart. 🏐🥹

It’s crazy how something that has been such a big part of my whole life can suddenly be over. MTC volleyball has challenged me physically and mentally, but I wouldn’t be the player I am today without it. My teammates have made this whole journey worth it, and I thank them for picking me up and pushing me to continue even when it was really hard! I hope I have made some impact on these girls whether it is small or big. I thank God everyday for giving me the ability to play volleyball and for the family he blessed me with. They are my biggest and greatest support system, and I couldn’t have made it all these years without them! Thank you To my mom for always praying with me before my biggest games, and pushing me to be the best on and off the court. To my dad for giving me the tightest hugs after every game and making me feel like a winner even after losing a game. To my all my other family members and friends for not only telling me they love me and saying they are proud of me but also for showing it! I am so sad to close this chapter but even more grateful it happened! #3 out❤️ by @jayla_john3
