Dec. 2nd, the day before my birthday, I lost my bestfriend, my supporter, and one of my biggest fans. Everybody knew I was his baby and how crazy he was about me. My paw and I talked almost everyday and every week leading up until his passing. Our conversations would be about Me being sick, him being sick, His car troubles, church, Tv shows but he would call them “ soap operas”, his car troubles again. I didn’t know nothing about fixing anything with cars but I listened. He would call me sometimes at 11pm telling me to listen to something he made up and for him to be as old as he was it sounded good . Oh, im going to miss those long winded conversations. I admired my paw from a very young age. I always begged him for his electric guitar and to teach me how to play.. he would tell me “ when I get done playing with it “. Growing up, I loved telling my teachers and peers about how he made music and how he sung and played with favorable celebrities. Watching him sing and play guitar was my favorite thing about him. Not even considering how silly and playful he was. We had the most laughs and jokes together. He told me him and his twin brother rode sharks in Florida … did they ? Of course not. but it was funny so I went along with it . For some odd reason, he loved the stanky leg. it was definitely a sight to see. I remember when he freestyled this one song saying do the jerk make it hurt, like a yoyo. What he meant by that ? The world will never know . Honestly I don’t even think he knew. But that was who my paw was. He was full of charm, character, love, kindness, laughter, and energy. Even when he was down he was up . ESPECIALLY when me and my mom visited him. by @jayladenise._
