🧡 Vanderbilt Cheer x Bullying Prevention Month 🧡

October is Bullying Prevention Month, and I loved being able to bring a piece of my heart to the SEC by raising awareness for a cause that means so much to me. As someone who has dedicated years to advocating for bullying prevention, I believe it is so important for individuals with visibility and influence, such as cheerleaders, to take an active stand against bullying and use their platforms to make a difference.

I am so thankful to my teammates for joining me in this fight and wearing orange to honor those who have lost their lives to bullying, those who are currently experiencing it, and those who continue to fight against it every single day 🧡 It means so much to see the people around me support a mission that has been close to my heart for years.

Bullying is an issue that deserves our attention far beyond the month of October. Whether it is speaking up when we witness unkindness, standing beside someone who feels alone, or simply choosing to lead with kindness, we all have a role to play in creating a safer world for one another.

May we continue to use our voices, platforms, and actions to remind others that they matter, that they are valued, and that they are never alone. Together, we can create kinder and safer environments for everyone, one less bully at a time 🧡

SECOND RUNNER-UP TO MISS ALABAMA 🤍👑

Wow. I am incredibly honored to have had the opportunity to compete on the Miss Alabama stage and to walk away with a Top 5 placement and being named the Community Service Award winner was truly a dream come true 💖 ✨

This season of preparation strengthened my relationship with God and challenged me to grow in ways I never imagined. It pushed me to a deeper level of faith, trust, and dependence on Him. I don’t even have the words to describe all He has done. God is so good ✝️🤍

From countless days of preparation, a talent change, wardrobe malfunctions, and roadblock after roadblock, I am so proud of myself for continuing to push forward and putting my best foot forward every step of the way. This journey challenged me in ways I never expected, but it also reminded me of what I am capable of when I trust the process and refuse to quit.

People always say you enter Miss Alabama one way and leave completely changed. I can honestly say that is absolutely true. Who would have thought that one week could change so much? But it did, and I will forever be thankful for every lesson, every conversation, every friendship, and every moment.

I am also incredibly thankful for the scholarship money I earned this weekend and cannot wait to apply it toward graduate school at Vanderbilt University 💛🖤🤍

Thank you to everyone who supported me, prayed for me, encouraged me, and believed in me throughout this journey. It truly takes a village, and I am so grateful for mine🫶

I’ll soak in every memory from this unforgettable week. But break’s over… it’s time to start preparing for Miss Alabama preliminaries 😉

I’m blessed and honored to be the 2026 Miss Alabama Community Service Winner 🥹🤍

Words can’t express how I feel about this prestigious honor. This organization and these women are the epitome of what it means to truly serve others. To stand among such strong women leading their communities means the world to me.

I plan to spend the rest of my life dedicating my voice to uplifting others and bringing awareness to bullying.

I am Miss Shelby County 🥹🤍👑

I’m beyond thrilled to be heading back to Miss Alabama, and this time representing the county I call home ❤️👑

This truly feels like a full circle moment ✨

The very first time I ever a Rising Star was at the Miss Shelby County pageant 🌟 It was also the first teen preliminary I ever competed in and the first Miss Alabama preliminary I ever stepped into so to now hold the title of Miss Shelby County means more to me than words can express 🥹🤍

I’m so thankful for my family, friends, and everyone who has supported me throughout this journey 💐 Your love, encouragement, and belief in me have meant everything

I am so excited to spread Jayla’s Justice across Shelby County, advocate for anti-bullying, and proudly represent my county on the Miss Alabama stage once again 🧡
