Another trip around the sun ☀️. I’m just grateful for everything and everyone in my life. A lot can change in a year and this might be one of the craziest years that I’ve had. It has been a roller coaster and I’m just riding with it. I’ve learned a bunch of lessons but nothing more than the understanding that I’m truly blessed. Regardless of the circumstances it is the power of spirit that keeps me pushing forward. We’ve come so far but got so far to go 🙏🏿.

It’s a weird feeling I’m having today. I’m very hurt but at the same time I’m very calm. We share the same exact name. You’re Big Jerry I’m lil Jerry. That’s the way it’s always been. My father indeed gained his wings today. I’m forever grateful for the life lessons, the laughs, the debates. You were not only important to us and the family but a lot of peoples lives. Everyone had love for Coach Shields! Our time on this planet is precious. I hope yall all love on each other like my dad loved on us

I love you. I miss you. R.I.H Dad 🖤 by @jayle0n
