I’ve been telling myself everyday I’d jump in the pool after working on the rv and today I just wore my swimsuit all day so I wouldn’t question it, I’d just jump it😅 Huge thank you to my nephew @fr3nchfry43 for helping me paint! And paint and paint and paint!😮‍💨 Sometimes I have to remind myself slow down, relax a little and take time to enjoy life. Today was a good day🙌✨

MAJOR progress today thanks to @hamilltaylor 🙌 I also learned something new which is something I love about doing DIY projects. I’m very much a hands on learner and learn as you go type of person. Plus there’s usually more than one way to achieve the same goal. Paint alone has made this rv feel completely different ✨

Paint prep is so tedious and it doesn’t help that it’s 100 degrees outside, but I’d much rather work in the sun than in the snow! This renovation is coming together so fast! I’m even picking out flooring TOMORROW!🙌

YALL! That means that by this weekend we have the interior painted and floored!🥳

Living tiny is not something new to me. This RV is actually more space than we’ve had in a rig in a while. Even our 29ft Skoolie wasn’t this spacious!(LOVE THE SLIDES) I have a VISION and I’m so excited to bring it to life! From new all black appliances, custom backsplash, dual cabinet paint and a pop of color!

So many people are curious about the shower and what I plan to do. I’m building custom cedar wood shower stalls that will be closed with a curtain. Upgraded black shower head and handles. Matching cedar shelves and a beautiful new mirror. A bold wallpaper and custom countertop to match the kitchen.

The closet is kinda small so I’ll be replacing the old tv box with a custom closet space addition🙌 Lots of cedar tongue in groove in the bedroom!

So many possibilities ✨

I’ve had LOTS of questions and lots of new friends here so I’d give some more context and more about what my plans are for this RV. My best friend @bridgetsturnout and I have talked about having a family compound for literally years and it’s finally happening!😆

Once the rv is done and we’re moved in, Bridget and I will be working on tons of projects around her house and the property. A cozy homestead is our goal. From animals to a garden. Our daughters are the same age and born two weeks apart! We’re both happy to be out of the city and raising our littles alongside each other. I hope you follow along and enjoy the journey 🫶🏼

Day two on the RV renovation and I’m already 98% DONE with demo!🙌 Huge shoutout to my friend @hamilltaylor for helping make this demo more enjoyable and lending a helping hand! I think those three layers of carpet would’ve been the death of me😮‍💨 Once this demo is 100% done I can start prepping for paint!😆🙌🎨 Any guesses on what paint color/pallet I’ll choose?👀

Starting over is always scary. Whether you’re anxious or excited, taking a leap of faith somehow always comes with lots of butterflies in your stomach. 😮‍💨

Starting over also doesn’t always look how you thought it would or wanted to. The beauty lies behind the overthinking and the anxiety. A fresh start means you get to build your life the way you want to with every step moving forward. Big or small. No matter what happens next, it’s my move. Life is truly what you make it.
