and to my brother, the person who has the best seat in the house. 🤍

I wish you were here. To lead me, to let me know how proud you are of me, to yell and be hype at all my college games and graduation… but you aren’t. as much as it hurts, I know heaven needed you more. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you. The void has never been filled in my heart… 6 years later and it still feels the exact same as the day I knew you were gone.

But I love you , JD and I swear you are graduating right beside me. You are my why and forever will be.

GOD DID!!! 👩🏽‍🎓

College is hard. Hooping in college and handling the course load of an engineering major is even harder! It wasn’t easy. There was so many times I wanted to throw in the towel and give up on all of it.

Transferring from South Alabama, losing over 50 credits, walking away from comfortability and taking a leap and coming to North Texas wasn’t easy. But it was all for a reason! God’s timing is always the right timing. It may have taken me 5 years to finish my degree but it was so worth it. The friendships and memories I made along the way are some I will forever cherish.

Without my support system and faith in God, I would not be here today. But in 7 days, I will be walking across that stage and I EARNED IT!!!! I will be graduating May 12th with a bachelor’s degree in Construciton Engineering Tehcnology and graduating with HONORS!

✅ 4x Presidents List
✅ 4x Dean’s List
✅ AAC CONFERENCE CHAMPION
✅ Magna Cum Laude Graduate
✅ AAC Commisoner’s Honor Roll
✅ CUSA Honor Roll
✅ SAAC Executive Member
✅ Blessed and highly favored!!!
