That bike is clean.

It’s literally pretty clean because I just wiped it down. It was quite filthy after the Dust Bowl 100 gravel race. But it’s dirty again after taking it for a spin again.

I’ve got the @fidlock_usa bottles on there. Get you a 500 ml thermal sleeve to keep your drink cool longer.

Decked out with the @leadout frame bag. Stuffed with a bunch of goodies.

Creek crossing in the final stretch of Southern Cross gravel race.

I noticed a lot of bottles on the ground along the course. It is kind of unfortunate for many reasons. 1) it’s litter and riders aren’t stopping to pick up their garbage, 2) you can’t hydrate if you don’t have your bottles.

50 miles and still have both of my @fidlock_us bottles. There were quite a few techy bumpy descents and my bottles weren’t phased. Get yourself bottles that you won’t lose. Check out my review on my site.

I really like the look of this @affinitycycles #kissena #trackbike with these #deep 88 mm @canecreekusa wheels. I haven’t been on the #velodrome with it yet but it is quite fast on the street. @sramroad omnium cranks makes the wheels go around. @skoutvelo protecting the frame from the bars.

Full review of the @favero_electronics Assioma Pro MX-2 power meter pedals is up. This is a long term review with science back statistics. The delay in this review comes from developing a testing protocol and creating a in-depth python based script to analyze the data. Also to produce the graphs and statistics to disseminate the data.

There are lots of good reviews online, mainly where they are physically looking at the discrepancies of the data. This review uses proven statistical methods to compare these devices and quantifies it.

I am still looking at ways to improve the analysis and hope to incorporate a vibration analysis soon.

It’s hard to choose my favorite pic from our trip, but this is pretty cool. We made a quick stop to Lake Bohinj in Croatia. It was a bit overcast on our visit so the water was a bit muted.

Such an epic trip. Maybe one day we’ll just bikepack across the whole country.

This was our first time to Europe and what an experience. Unfortunately, we are back and back to work. If you are thinking of visiting beginning of September is a perfect time to go.
