Chapter +1. 🎂✨

Today, I’m not just celebrating another year. I’m celebrating the person I’ve become and the journey that brought me here.

There have been moments of uncertainty, moments where things didn’t go as planned, and moments where I had to remind myself to keep going. But through it all, I’ve learned, grown, and become stronger.

I’m grateful for the people who have been part of my journey, the opportunities that have shaped me, the lessons that came with the difficult seasons, and even the doors that didn’t open.

I may not have everything figured out yet, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come. There’s still so much I want to achieve, so much I want to create, and so much more to become.

This new chapter, I’m choosing growth, consistency, purpose, and the courage to keep pursuing the life I envision.

Here’s to more life, more growth, bigger opportunities, meaningful work, and beautiful memories.

10 Things You Should Know Before Choosing an NYSC PPA

1. Prioritize career growth over just the allowance. A higher-paying PPA isn’t always the best if it doesn’t help you gain valuable experience.

2. Choose a company in your field. Your service year should build your skills and strengthen your career path.

3. Ask if they retain corps members. Companies with a history of retaining corpers often offer better long-term opportunities.

4. Research the company’s reputation. Learn about their work culture, leadership, and employee experiences before accepting an offer.

5. Consider the location. A PPA closer to where you live saves time, reduces stress, and improves productivity.

6. Make sure you’ll be doing meaningful work. Avoid roles where you’ll spend the year doing tasks unrelated to your career.

My journey into tech didn’t start yesterday.
It started 5 years ago.

I began with graphic design, learning and growing one step at a time. Along the way, I got into front-end development — learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and eventually React.

Then 3 years ago, I made one of the biggest decisions of my career: transitioning into product design.

The journey hasn’t been smooth. It’s been a continuous cycle of learning, unlearning, failing, improving, and starting again. But every phase shaped me into a better creative.

If you’re just starting out in tech, don’t rush the process. Growth takes time. Stay consistent, keep learning, and trust your journey. One day, your story will inspire someone too. 🚀
