“don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened”…

Ever since I was a baby freshman, I always thought it was so cringey for the upperclassmen to talk about how fast the time would go, only to find out they were absolutely right and it’d become true before I could even realize. I never thought this time would come rather so quick. To all of my coaches, teammates, and family who made this sport so lovable, I wouldn’t have been able to grow as a player and a person without you. And a huge shoutout to my dad for always wearing the most coolest shirts (I picked them out). Saying goodbye to one of the most memorable and greatest chapters of my life. It has been one heck of a journey and I wouldn’t have wanted to go through it with anyone else. I am beyond grateful to have played the sport I love most with such amazing girls by my side. I could never forget the amazing memories made along the way. I promised myself to better my jersey number, to be passed down to the next player to wear it, proudly representing the name on the front and back. Thank you Struthers volleyball. #16 signing off 🏐❤️WE>ME by @jaylynnsherred_
