A really vulnerable post for me….. I’m actually really sad looking back at these videos, but at the same time, they’re such a good reflection of how far I’ve come.

There was a version of me who thought she had found her “spark”, but looking back now, I realise so much of my confidence and worth came from external validation. Social media, friendships, work, status, money, how I looked and what other people thought of me.

Then I went through a really hard season where I experienced a lot of loss. I lost friendships, I lost work, I lost my sense of purpose and, most importantly, I lost myself. Everything I thought I had built my confidence on was stripped away, and at the time I couldn’t understand why.

Looking back now, I truly believe it was God’s divine timing. He had to take those things away for me to realise that none of them could ever give me what I was searching for. I needed Him.

Once I fully surrendered my life to God, I found my “spark” again. But this time it didn’t come from a diet, a high paying job, social media or external validation. It came from Him. He gave me the security, purpose and identity that I was trying to find in everything else.

I now genuinely feel confident from within because I know who I am and, more importantly, I know whose I am. I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

A lot of you probably only know the new or the older version of me on here, but I’m a firm believer that transformation isn’t just physical. I’ve changed so much mentally and spiritually too, and I didn’t realise just how much I had grown until looking back at these videos.

I’m genuinely so happy with who I am, the life I’m living and everything I’m building around me. God got me out of situations I never thought I’d be able to get myself out of, and I’ll forever be grateful for that.

So if you’re currently in a season where you feel like you’ve lost your purpose or your spark, don’t automatically see it as something negative. Maybe it’s redirection. Maybe God is removing things you thought you needed to make room for something greater.

It’s never too late to choose a different life. 🤍

Don’t get stuck in habits, environments or people that keep you small and pull you away from who you’re meant to be.

Choose yourself. Work on yourself. Heal. Grow. Become the best version of you.

And most importantly, don’t let someone else’s negativity dim the light God placed inside of you.

I’m so grateful I had the courage to let go of the life I thought I wanted and choose a life with God instead. I prayed for a breakthrough, and He gave me wings.

Hard work pays off. 🤍

If you need a sign to stick to your habits, this is it.
January → Now.

This wasn’t a quick fix. It wasn’t an overnight transformation. It was months of showing up, staying consistent, putting my health and fitness first and following a routine that worked for me.

I’ve learnt that you don’t need to be perfect, you just need to keep the promises you make to yourself.

So proud of how far I’ve come this year, not just physically, but mentally too.
