Happy Birthday to our very own ray of sunshine ☀️💛

The one who is always there, always caring, always showing up and making life fun.

We’re so lucky to have you, Mum. Life wouldn’t be the same without your love, your laughs and your unwavering support.

Love you more than words can say. Happy Birthday 🤍✨ by @jaymeesdays

Last year, I was lucky enough to step into the world of film and television as Second Assistant Director on The Carers a funny, sharp and wonderfully real show created right here in Noosa by my brilliant friends @janneke.williamson and @charlotteoliviacarr

With support from @sunnycoastshowdown and the @screencollective , what started as lots of long days and late nights writing and creating was brought to life by an incredible team of talent. This week, we finally got to see it on screen.

Seeing the finished product was everything!!!!! I hope the whole world gets to see it.

What I love is getting a glimpse of just how much work happens behind the scenes. The long days, moving parts, endless problem-solving and a whole lot of talented people somehow pulling everything together.

Film and television really is the ultimate team sport, and I feel incredibly lucky to have been a small part of this project.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved. I can’t wait to see where The Carers goes next.

And for anyone wondering, being a Second Assistant Director is mostly a mix of organisation, communication and occasionally finding people who have mysteriously disappeared five minutes before they’re needed. 😝 by @jaymeesdays

I started at the mumsie in 2019, and as 2026 begins, I’m stepping into a new adventure… one that means stepping back from the day-to-day. You may still see my face pop up on your feeds, but I’ll no longer be working at the mumsie. I’ve learned so much, loved deeply, and met the most incredible people along the way. These memories and connections are ones I’ll hold close and cherish forever. Wishing the mumsie team the most incredible 2026! 🤍 #mumsielove by @jaymeesdays
