Spent the day trying to act like we belong in the Turf Club at Del Mar. But right off the bat I’m gonna say… this must be the “business casual” Met Gala.

Did I get the shrimp cocktail? You freaking bet I did.
Bottomless mimosas? Absolutely.
Flower tie? I’m committed to the theme remember business casual? Met Gala? Hello?
Horse betting? Somehow I picked a winner on my first try, (Go Candy Bar!) so naturally I’m retiring, and will be writing this months featured story on the cover of Horse Race Betting Weekly.

10/10 day with my favorite girl. I still don’t know why they race on the grass side of the track sometimes, and other times they race on the dirt side of the track, but I do know I’m ordering the shrimp again.

Side note: it is not lost on me that Jayme has flawless skin. 🤌🏼 taken in Del Mar Racing by @jaymelake

What a ride it’s been being back in Bomont this summer helping @colin.alsop & @a.list.theater with their production of ✨FOOTLOOSE✨

After a pretty intense year, I had to split my summer between some personal things & this show. I wish I could’ve been more hands-on, but I’m proud of the moments I was able to contribute—especially in character work & story support. Big thank you to the cast & team for their patience, support & understanding. 🙏🏻

In honor of opening night, here’s a throwback to summer 2009! When I played ‘Urleen’ in Footloose at the Glendale Centre Theatre (now the Nocturne Theatre) in LA. I learned the part in less than two weeks—including tech week—while my castmate @jaymelake was doing the same with her lead role as ‘Ariel’! Total theatre magic- still don’t know how we did it! 🎭

Still incredibly grateful for that show & the wonderful people I got to work with. Huge thanks to director Tom Robinson for the last-minute chance to be part of this journey & for having faith in me.🤍

Wishing @a.list.theater & our cast/crew an unforgettable opening night & performances this weekend full of laughter, growth & memories that’ll stay with you for a lifetime. Now, kick off your Sunday shoes & dance like nobody’s watching! 🎶❤️🎶
