This guy is my HERO. To celebrate Bowie’s birthday week- I made a reel to highlight how FAR he’s come in 4 years. He’s been walking for about 8.5 months- it’s been such a fight to get here!! I’m so proud of him and know whatever is in his future he is gonna face it with determination, grit, and a whole lot of love from all of us cheering him on. There are a lot of unknowns with his diagnosis- but one thing I DO KNOW, I will fight alongside him all my life! by @jaymie.joy

We finally received a diagnosis for our sweet Bo Bear. He has an incredibly rare gene mutation- Confirming what we already knew- Bowie is one in a million! (More like- one in tens of millions… I connected with a group online- and as far as I know- only 36 people in the world have been diagnosed with this same mutation.) it’s so good to have an answer, even if it wasn’t what we were expecting. Bo is going to have an incredible, inspiring, joy filled life- and I am so lucky to have a front row seat to it all. This certainly won’t define him- he has a fighting spirit, and I can’t wait to watch him beat the odds and grow into the man he is meant to be. Mark, Gemma and I feel privileged that he chose us to be the ones to fight alongside him. Continued 👇🏻. by @jaymie.joy

It’s my BIRTH WEEK.❤️🙌🏻✨ I always love holidays, birthdays, any chance to reflect back on my life AND look forward. When I look around, I get overwhelmed. I’m telling you, if 17-year-old me could see the life I live now…. She would FLIP. This has been the best year of my life🙌🏻 hands down. I’m so thankful for my kids, for my husband, my home- life is hard- but it’s also SO beautiful. God has blessed me with so much- I try to never take it for granted and wanted to take a second to publicly express how grateful I am for all He has given me. I have some EXCITING things coming up this next year… I can’t wait to see what happens, it just keeps getting better!! by @jaymie.joy

I have a son with an incredibly rare gene mutation (36th person in the world!) and being SO honest- I’ve lost myself a little in caring for him the past 6 years…. It’s an Honor to be his mom- but this spring I decided I won’t be a martyr to motherhood. I can care 100% for him and 100% for me too!!!

I could give you a list of everything I did to lose 35 pounds…

But the biggest thing I learned this year actually has very little to do with the number on the scale.

Feeling good matters.
And I don’t mean feeling good in a swimsuit.

✨I mean pouring into myself so I can pour out to my family. Moving my body, fueling myself, getting the support and supplements I need to be my best. I take care of me- physically, mentally, emotionally… so I can take care of them in all those ways too.

I’m starting to post on here more because I want to remind women that ✨YOU are important. Taking care of yourself is worth your time- however that looks, feed yourself nutritious meals, get more sleep, take time to connect with friends … show up for yourself. 💪🏼Look good. ❤️Feel good. 🫶🏻Do good. by @jaymie.joy

Do we need a full blown tutorial!? I hope you watch this and realize how EASY it is to do lashes at home!! Takes me about 1 minute every 10-14 days and I feel SO put together. Love a high maintenance routine that ACTUALLY helps me be low maintenance the rest of the week!! by @jaymie.joy
