Trend research is actually a huge part of social media management 👀 It’s not just about scrolling through TikTok or Instagram and saving every trending sound you come across. It’s about understanding which trends are relevant to your brand, how they can be adapted to fit your voice, and whether they’ll actually connect with your audience! Keeping up with trending sounds, formats, conversations, memes, and content styles helps brands stay relevant, show up in a way that feels current, and create content people genuinely want to engage with! The key is knowing how to use a trend without forcing it. Not every viral sound or format will make sense for every business, and jumping on a trend just because it’s popular can sometimes feel out of place. The right trend should support your message, highlight your personality, and help your content reach the right people! When you’re busy running a business, keeping up with all of that usually isn’t at the top of your to-do list.
