Mikey and I are home after staying in Pacific Grove, CA for February. Love the coastline there. Explored Point Lobos State park for the first time- gorgeous! Saw more otters this trip than ever before. Got to visit Mikey’s family- met for a couple of dinners and wine tasting. Spent 2 nights in San Luis Obispo - really loved it there. Small college town nestled in some hills and only 12 minutes from the coast. by @jaynchapman

Mikey and I loved our time in Palm Springs. We were able to tour Joshua Tree National Park. Hiked in many locations - Indian Canyon, Tahquitz Canyon and Araby Trail. Visited Sunnylands (initially home to Walter & Leonore Annenberg that became the Camp David of the West). Also visited Moorten’s Cactus Garden and was able to spend several days at the Indian Wells Tennis tournament. Loved our visits from Mike’s brother and sister-in-law along with some friends from the Couve. by @jaynchapman

Mikey and I are back from our stay in Palm Springs. Had a wonderful time in the desert. I really fell in love with the mid-century architecture. Loved walking these neighborhoods looking for the next gem. We took an architectural tour on a double decker bus to get a little of the history. Besides the architecture I didn’t realize how wonderful landscaping in the desert could look. At nighttime some of these homes are even more dramatic. by @jaynchapman

Just back from a wonderful trip to Florida to visit friends and family. Visited Mount Dora - beautiful old Inn and they love to decorate for Christmas. The marina was totally amazing. Took an archery lesson, lawn bowled and whacked a little white ball around a golf course 😜(when you golf once every 30-40 years what can you expect). Perfect weather- highs 65-low 80’s. Essentially no rain. Also was able to make a short visit down to Port St. Lucie to visit Mikey’s family for a few days- they have s beautiful home on a lake. I could live on their back screened in porch ❤️. by @jaynchapman

Mikey and I did our Christmas Lights Tour a few days ago. First is 7th St. and then Franklin St. - both in Vancouver. The last 6 pics are from Peacock Lane in Portland. Love the house next door to the extravagantly decorated house on 7th St. 😂 by @jaynchapman

Just home from a wonderful vacation! First to Pajaro Dunes, CA for Mikey’s annual family pig roast. Then off to Colorado to see friends. Beautiful country and we had killer weather. Finally back to Ohio to see family. Great to catch up and see the new addition to the family. My niece’s boys tried to kill me playing some basketball and tennis. Took me 2 days to recover 😂. Last two pics are of the Grand River Valley wine country in Ohio - really picturesque. by @jaynchapman

Just home from a wonderful vacation trip with my Brother and Sister-in-Law. Started in Ashland with two musicals and one play. Then off to the Redwoods - so majestic. They give you such a sense of awe. Then up the coast to Bella Beach for some chill time. Finished off the coast in Cannon Beach. Then made a day trip back to the Oregon Wine Country (Red Ridge Farms and the Allison Inn) by @jaynchapman

Mikey and I made a day trip to the Ridgefield Mercantile today. A wonderful shop opened by a good friend Kate (and her business partner Susan). It’s a wonderfully curated collection of old and new. An eclectic assortment of articles both large and small- furniture, artwork, home decor accent pieces, garden art, beautiful gift cards and just about anything you could imagine. The pics I took don’t do it justice. You should check it out! by @jaynchapman
