Happy first day of spring! 🌸
I always seem to reach for purple when spring arrives 〰️ maybe it’s those beautiful Prunus trees bursting into flower. Not sure, but it gives me such a burst of energy.
Just an abstract I felt like painting.
Still have a bit of masking tape on the frame (whoops)…
and now it’s all done.
25 x 25 cm
I get quite a few frames given to me as gifts, so I thought I’d use this one.
DM if interested
Thank you 〰️

Got a few DMs asking which books I’m reading in my latest FAST reel 🤪, so I thought I’d share them here……👇🏽

〰️Daily Mantras to Ignite Your Purpose – Lisa Messenger
This one actually isn’t in the reel, but it’s one of my all-time fav’s. I bought it from the lovely @elliotandmeboutique quite a few years ago, & it’s still hanging in there! I come back to it every year. It’s full of beautiful daily reminders, affirmations, & inspiration to help you stay grounded & focused on what matters most @lynette_boud_naturopathy
I know you love this book too!

〰️Good Vibes, Good Life – Vex King
A beautiful, uplifting read about self-love, positive thinking, & creating a happier mindset. It’s full of simple, practical advice that you can dip into whenever you need a little boost. Bought from @dymocksadelaide

〰️Slow – Brooke McAlary
Another favourite that I absolutely love. It’s a wonderful read about slowing down, simplifying life, & creating more space for the things that truly matter. Such a gentle reminder that life doesn’t always have to be rushed. Bought from @booktopiabooks

These are books I find myself reaching for time & time again, & I hope you enjoy them as much as I have. 🤎

If you’ve got any book recommendations, I’d love to hear them too! 🤎

Can you believe it? This is the first year I haven’t been involved in SALA. It definitely feels a little different, but I’ve really appreciated the chance to slow down, step back, & recharge.

Life moves quickly, so I’m learning to savour one sip at a time. ✨🤎

Life gets busy! I’ve been MIA a lot lately on this platform.
Amid it all, thought I’d pop this up..
I’m so happy to be taking part in the @incognitoartshow for the forth time.
It’s an anonymous art show where all the artworks are the same A5 size & just $100.
The catch? The artworks remain a mystery until they’re sold ..no names, no signatures, just pure connection with the piece& the joy of discovery. All money raised is to help fund programs for artists living with disabilities.
Add your favourites to your wishlist before the show!
www.incognitoartshow.com
✨Sale dates:
Sydney – 27 June to 5 July (online from 28 June)
Brisbane – 25 & 26 July (online from 26 July)
Townsville – 15 & 16 August (online from 16 August)

〰️It always feels special being part of something so genuine..really looking forward to seeing which pieces find their people this year〰️🤍

Still so drawn to these soft, dreamy colours after all these years 〰️
The peachy one I bought, & the other I made myself forever ago. They’re such a pretty blend of creamy whites, blush pinks, and warm peaches. I love how the light catches them ✨
(The white one is hanging in there… I’ll need to redo it at some stage)

They hang in my studio & always make me smile. I really miss those days of making necklaces & bracelets 🐚
These soft colours still inspire me 〰️ they feel like warm sunsets, quiet beach days & golden light that lingers here in Adelaide.

Here’s my little painting secret 〰️Instead of dealing with paint building up on the lid every time, I just punch a small hole in the silver seal on the top. It stays much cleaner
a & no more old paint sticking around!

Canvas pad, sketchbook… come out to play! 🌸✨
Nothing beats a lazy studio session outside this morn with fresh pages, messy palettes, half-drunk coffee,& flowers that just want to dance across the canvas✨

These little paintings have been my happy place lately in between other work & a commission piece… soft, earthy tones bringing a gentle burst of happiness as autumn settles in (my favourite month!) who’s with me?

Which one feels like your kind of joy in the carousel piccy’s?..
The moody browns, the dusty pinks, or the dreamy blues?
