Taking my latest #minibirb #tinycanvas out into the sun to show off the metallic sparkle. These are fun because they’re magnetic on the back so totally fridge-ready. #artforartssake by @jaynetunes

Been away from baseball for a while so I just heard about the few San Francisco Giants players who indulged in ignorant and bigoted behavior during the Giants’ Pride celebration on Friday. I’m disgusted and angry about it.

Sami Higgins of the McCovey Chronicles writes,
“[…]I am a human being. And a human being in the LGBTQIA+ community, to boot. I know, it’s a pretty shitty time for us right now.

“And on Friday night, several Giants players decided that the ONE night of the entire season that is dedicated to acknowledging the humanity and struggles of fans like me was something that they absolutely could not abide.”

All my LGBTQIA+ friends, I want you to know that I stand with you. It sucks that people are emboldened to show this kind of bigotry and hate. It sucks that they’ve been taught to feel it.

The Giants organization, if they tolerate this, which they appear to be doing, will lose enormous goodwill, deservedly so.

The players hid behind their “religious beliefs.” That’s weak garbage. by @jaynetunes

There is a non-zero chance that the former women’s prison FCI Dublin could be converted into an ICE detention center in Alameda’s County. Link in the comments— please send a message voicing your opposition.

Finally found a satisfying art form that isn’t exhausting to set up, do, or clean up. Little canvases with magnetized backs. Acrylic markers/brush tip markers. Fine tip ink pen. by @jaynetunes

Time is just weird. Yesterday marked a year since our bear-huggin, turbo-strummin, shrimp-boilin, IPA-sharin, Droolpig-lovin, dirt-rakin, road-trippin’, redwood-hikin, song-magickin friend Erik Rozite stepped off this plane. It’s felt like forever and like no time at all. Forever grateful for the instant musical bond, the warm friendship, and the incredible community. I will always miss you, brother. by @jaynetunes

I did an Art on my iPad! Used a photo I took in Pescadero as the inspiration, then used Sketchbook to draw and paint. Total beginner at this. Having fun. by @jaynetunes

It ain’t right for there to be an Erik Rozite’s birthday without Erik. 😢 Glasses will be raised all over the Santa Cruz mountains and way beyond today, missing the big guy, his big heart and his rib-crushing hugs.

Also if you can, come to the Dirt Rakers Tribute at The River Run at Brookdale Lodge on Saturday to celebrate Erik’s birthday with some of the Dirt Rakers alums and many friends.

Miss you, brother. ❤️‍🩹 by @jaynetunes
