My life has been full of very large changes over the last year. It’s been a lot, but also rewarding and at times joyous. Through all of this change, I’m super excited to be able to sing and play tunes with Mareva and our old pal @spitzerspacetelescope. We’ll be playing at Red Ink at 8pm this Sunday. I hope to see some of you there and I hope you’re all doing well 🥰🥰🥰 taken in Red Ink Community Library by @jayoftheroses

Thanks to all who wished a happy birthday! It was a day well spent exploring Chicago with @marevaraves and the cutest and sweetest Bulma. Finally got down to calumet fisheries to sample some beautiful smoked and fried fish. It was a good day :)

Always on a quest to make electronic noise sound acoustic, and acoustic noise sound electronic. For me it’s a fuzzy, cozy little ambiguous world that makes me feel like I’m swimming back and forth from reality into dream world. This is me playing acoustic guitar to a tape loop of an old Yamaha Synthesizer.

It’s Bandcamp Friday (!!) and Jolene and I want you all to know about the new album from my project Chanter, called “calm creeps in.” I meticulously crafted sounds using acoustic instruments, everyday items, and kids toys, and layered them over musical ideas. I started this project as a distraction, a meditative, time-consuming process to calm my anxiety and depression. It blossomed into something that I’ve grown quite fond of, and I eventually decided to make this personal collection into an album. I love the way it sounds (huge shout out to @deliverance2387 for mastering) and I can’t wait for others to sit in this joyful yet slightly chaotic world that I built. It’s available to listen and purchase on Bandcamp today! And because it’s Bandcamp Friday all sales are going directly to artists. Link in bio
Also, big thanks to @spitzerspacetelescope for the beautiful artwork and to @marevaraves for the fiddle and vocal tracks as well as all the amazing support throughout this process!!
