Man I am feeling very sentimental writing this. Myself and Dave met online in 2013 on a forum I ran, making shite tunes in our bedrooms and sharing them back and forth.

I spent a few hours today going through our old texts and it truly hit me that what we would speak about accomplishing, and the dreams that seemed so improbable, we are genuinely in the midst of living now.

Fast forward over a decade and he’s just released his debut album, entitled “Are You Still You?”, which I love, because whilst I can say I’m proud of the person he’s become, I am even prouder of the person he has remained these many years.

I couldn’t be prouder to have helped co-produce/write “Catch Me In Amsterdam”, “Paradise”, and “Kill The Noise”, alongside some of my idols in this scene.

What a full circle moment, love you brother and congratulations on your debut album 🖤 taken in Los Angeles, California by @jaypryor

JAY PRYOR x KIMARA LOVELACE - ONLY YOU [KING STREET SOUNDS] OUT THIS FRIDAY 09/18/2026

It’s an absolute honor to be given the opportunity by Kimara and King Street to put this record out. Such an incredible voice and label that has so much rooted history in the scene that I’ve been such a fan of for as long as I can remember. I hope you all love this one, and feel as though I’ve done right by the original record 🙏🏼

Comment “YOU” for an early link 🔗

one month of girlfriend 👩🏼‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏻

numbers aren’t everything, id be equally as content with 3 people hearing this song as I am today, im honestly just so happy to be releasing music again. that said, I’d be telling a fib if I said that the support I’ve received in the last month hasn’t been a huge surprise and simultaneously a huge lesson in self belief. going into this release and over the last few years I’ve had a lot of self doubt, so it really does make me happy to see it’s connected with so many of you 🫂

there’s so much more in the pipeline, this is just the start. thank you so much for welcoming me back with open arms 🖤 — jay taken in Thank You by @jaypryor
