A year ago I couldn’t have imagined this view… ☁️

New apartment. New neighborhood. New chapter.

After ten years of marriage, Dan and I wrote the final chapter of our love story and decided to go our separate ways. Since then, I’ve been in a chrysalis, healing.

There’s a lot to grieve and a lot to be thankful for. My marriage taught me much about life, about myself and how I want to show up in the world.

I spent the year letting go of the life I thought I’d have forever. I had to learn to rebuild from scratch. Reorienting around my life purpose. Blank canvas.

When I took the leap, my wonderful network of friends, dance partners, loved ones and community showed up in major ways. I’ve felt held through it all.

These days my life feels full of possibility and joy. I’m making new friends and dancing more than ever.

What a wild winding path life is.
