Took me a minute to post this, because I didn’t want to accept the fact that this was real. I’ve been hurting bad, bro!! Real bad!! Sleepless nights, and asking God for peace and understanding. I remember when I first met you, bro. You were the only person I knew, who I connected with, and automatically felt like we were family. You had a Mo-hawk, and I had one, too. You were the cool guy, the only person who I wouldn’t have mind switching places with when we were kids. I remember meeting mom @arderossi for the first time, and you both embraced me like I was family. I used to spend almost everyday over at your crib, and mom would cook for us and always ask where we were going. When I went through one of the most difficult transitions of my life, with losing my record deal, and having to figure out where I was going to stay, you took me to mom and told her that I was staying with you guys. Mom accepted me with open arms, and told me that I didn’t have a deadline, but had to wake up to pray and eat breakfast everyday. This was a time in my life where I felt like giving up, but you told me that wouldn’t happen as long as you had something to do with it. Over the years we lost that connection, due to life changing circumstances, but whenever we did talk, it was always family business. I remember our last conversation was about linking up with our kids and hanging out. When I received the news that my brother was no longer with me, a big part of me left. I’m still hurting bad, and cry daily bro, but I know God needed you most. Man…I’m going to miss you brodie. I’m sure you’re hanging with pops, and you’re rejoicing with the angels. Love you, Lo!! 9 years ago, on March 26th, 2017, we vowed to love each other forever. It’s been a journey, but one that is worth celebrating. The days that feel hard, are the ones that teaches me how to love you, unconditionally. I wouldn’t change a thing, and grateful that God gave me you. I’m a lucky man!! My brother, Dave, I’m hurt about this one!! This is actually crazier than most losses for me! You were a real one, one that everyone could depend on to be a great human being. Street, but R&B as they come. lol! 😆 I’m really lost for words concerning hearing the news that you’re no longer with us. My bro’s birthday was a day after mine. (12.18) No matter if we hadn’t talked in years, when we did, it was always like yesterday. You know I love your mom like she’s mine, and will be praying that she continues to fight the good fight to stay here.
