In November I’ll be 2 years sober.

I thought going sober I’d immediately feel free and feel ‘normal’ again but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I’ve spent the last 2 years bringing 16 years of hurt up to the surface and had to face all sorts of demons head on all before getting to the actual task of figuring out who I really am.

I know there’s still a long way to go but as each day passes I feel my life getting lighter, my path becoming clearer and my dreams getting closer.

I finally feel like I’m breaking free. taken in London, United Kingdom by @jayrevan_yves

FELIXSTOWE TRIATHLON

Triathlon debut. Plenty of positives. Plenty to take away. Plenty of improvements to make for Ironman Bolton 70.3.

Taking this week to recover, reset and spend some time with the family then we’ll move into a 12 week block in preparation for the 26/27 HYROX season.

HYROX LONDON OLYMPIA - SOLO MENS PRO

Not the result I was shooting for on the day but plenty of positives to take away and a major lesson learned here. All of the data from Friday shows my running is getting back to previous levels. I felt fast and strong but I made one schoolboy error that cost me about 14 minutes, an easy fix moving forward.

Felt great being back out on the pro floor, my last appearance in this division was back in 2023 and a lot has changed since then.

We keep the pressure on. taken in London, United Kingdom by @jayrevan_yves
