Had to reactivate the gram just long enough to let those who are interested know that I’m working on new music.

I wish I could tell you it’s being made with a room full of beautiful vintage gear, but alas… I’m but a simple man.

Self-recording these little songs is my favorite thing in the world. Getting to disappear into my own little universe for a while is incredibly therapeutic.

For this project, I switched things up a bit. No bass. No drums. No electric guitars. Just acoustic guitars and the synths you see here.

The goal is something that feels like Nick Drake and Vangelis somehow wandered into the same strange little pastoral sci-fi dream.

Anyway, I’ve been having a blast making these. Hoping to have them out in just a few weeks.

I’ll be hanging around on social media until then. ✌️ taken in Silver City, New Mexico by @jaywakesmusic
