First pumpfoil night session. No view of the water at all - just trying to feel the foil, trust my balance, and keep pumping. Sketchy, but so much fun, until I had to ride a turn😅

If I had to learn the beach start from scratch, this is exactly how I'd approach it: one step at a time, focusing on balance, timing, and committing to the movement.

Ideal conditions to avoid scratches;)
● ankle deep water, thats dropping of quick
● big frontwing
● soft sand, no rocks

First boat starts on the Dolphin M - humbling experience

The smaller foils need more speed and perfect timing, and the boat wake makes it even trickier.

Managed to get up twice, but there's still a lot to clean up before the Seychelles trip.

First starts with my new small foil...
yeah, didn't go as planned😅

Smaller foils are way trickier to get going, and this spot wasn't ideal either

But that's what the sessions are for: learn, adjust, nail it next time.
