Reminiscing about last week this #fursuitfriday …

How can I put into words the flip in my chest pulling up to the convention center and seeing furries walking around that first Friday night? The Saturday morning air brimming with excitement as I fullsuited for the first time outside of my home, the energy that crackled as the crowds poured in for the parade? The quiet, comfortable lull on Sunday, watching con staff joke and greet each other like old friends…

It’s unbelievable the kindness and joy that poured out from every person I met, and I couldn’t have felt more at home. I never imagined I’d find my place in such a wonderful community, and I couldn’t have had a better first con experience. I only wish I could’ve stayed longer, or held longer conversations between all the running around!

From the bottom of this cloudie-wolf’s fluffy heart, thank you @anthrosocal for the memories. I’ll see you next year! 🤎

I’m Jay, a clouded leopard-wolf hybrid! 🐺🐆I’m inquisitive, good-natured, and here to make friends. My markings and claws make me look fierce, like a Rottweiler’s, but rest assured, I don’t bite (unless it’s consensual.) I am usually quiet, but enjoy a good howl now and then.

I love to prowl around and go on adventures with friends, trying not to break things with my long tail along the way. I enjoy hiking and logic puzzles for the first hour. I enjoy naps but hate waking up late in the mornings. I am the target audience of Christmas advertising every year and unfortunately am willingly blinded by the capitalistic nature of the annual holiday season. I will gift friends random things, like a crow.
