first powerlifting meet in the books boys 🤙

went 9/9 for my first meet, succeeding in every lift i attempted. hit a couple of ATPR’s along the way too. overall, this is probably best first meet experience i could’ve asked for. vibes were high, caffeine in my system was even higher, and adrenaline was PUMPING. everything felt great man.

above all, i am beyond grateful for all the support that my friends and family showed me both during the meet and the prep leading up to it. yall know who you are—lifting heavy circles is already enjoyable for me, but you guys really elevate the training experience by making every gym sesh with you guys a great time. also were instrumental parts of helping me keep pushing even when the fatigue was high and mental was suffering, which was a very big lesson i learned from this meet prep.

shoutout to adrian with @whitelotuspowerlifting for sticking with me this past year and helping me find and push beyond my limits. thanks to my boy @foxer_mkp for the meet day handling and (persistent) snack reminders throughout the day. definitely wouldn’t have had as amazing of a meet experience without you guys.

from throwing my back out on deads 2 weeks out from my original first meet back in 2024 to now, i really feel like i’ve learned a lot. i’m so, so grateful for this journey. we keep climbing boys 😎

2025 turned out to be one hell of a year. changes abound, new chapters around every corner, and just so, so many lessons learned on the path to trying to be the best version of myself i can be. it was tumultuous, but despite everything i’m grateful for everything it’s taught me (not to mention the amazing people it surrounded me with). let’s keep pressing forward into 2026. 🌕 taken in Ashburn, Virginia by @jayyyye.c
