Ladies and gentlemen, introducing Jazmin Johnson — Directing Fellow under the mentorship of Blake Martin.
@jazi_jayz

A Directing Fellow is an emerging filmmaker selected to train under an established director through hands-on experience, shadowing, and mentorship — learning the craft not just in theory, but in real time on set, in production meetings, and in the creative process from script to screen.

Jazmin is an incredibly dedicated and thoughtful creative who has already proven herself to be organized, curious, collaborative, and fearless when it comes to learning the craft of filmmaking. She shows up prepared, asks the right questions, and approaches every moment with the kind of professionalism and hunger that great directors are made of.

Programs like this exist to create space for the next generation of storytellers, and Jazmin has already demonstrated that she belongs in that conversation.

We look forward to watching her continue to grow, sharpen her voice as a filmmaker, and take full advantage of every opportunity this fellowship provides. The future of directing is bright — and we’re excited to have Jazmin in the room. by @jazi_jayz
