✨ First Semester Complete ✨

Today I officially completed my first semester of culinary school with a 3.75 GPA, and I couldn’t be more proud of myself.

For a long time, I pursued things that felt more like obligations than passions. Choosing culinary arts was different. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I’m working toward something that genuinely excites me. Every recipe, technique, challenge, and late night reminded me that I’m not just learning how to cook. I’m building a future that I can see, taste, and believe in.

While many people only see the finished dishes, they don’t see the sacrifices, the studying, the long days, and the countless hours spent thinking through every decision and planning my next move. I’ve learned that every choice matters when you’re building something bigger than yourself.

I’m still building my empire in the dark, brick by brick, one goal at a time.

Reintroducing myself as Chef Jazmin 🤍👩🏽‍🍳

This year has been full of growth, hard decisions, and beautiful clarity. I’ve learned to trust my journey and lean into what I love most cooking.

It’s more than food for me it’s how I show love.

I’m so grateful for everyone who continues to support me and believe in my dreams. One day I’ll open my own diner, and I can’t wait to serve you all.

This year also came with one of the biggest transitions in my life choosing to step away from a traditional four-year university path and fully step into culinary school. It wasn’t an easy decision, especially after working so hard to continue my education, but it was the shift I needed.

For the first time, my happiness feels aligned with my purpose. I realized that life isn’t just about degrees it’s about walking in your passion, your calling, and doing something that fulfills you every single day.

I thank God daily for His grace, guidance, and for continuing to light my path. It’s not always easy navigating life, but I refuse to give up on the gifts He has placed within me.

I am growing. I am evolving. I am walking in purpose.
I am greatness. ✨

I’m filled with so much gratitude for where I am in life right now. Continuing to make decisions that bring me joy has truly been the best choice during this phase. I’m grateful for the endless opportunities to learn and grow, and for stepping into a new level of life!
