Car person or not, the silhouette of a 911 is instantly recognisable. It’s undeniably timeless.

Jarrett had been driving his S54-swapped E30 for almost a decade, and it had made him fall in love with the raw, analog nature of the driving experience.

So, what could be next?

The answer was the unmistakable spirit of an air-cooled Porsche.
Six years ago, he picked up this 1993 Carrera 2 - completely stock and in desperate need of some repairs. He immediately disassembled the whole car and began the project.

The goal was to create something special. The recipe was to keep it simple, push the limits of an air-cooled 3.6L, and add his own touch to the build. The highlight for Jarrett? The raw sound of the motor with the custom cams.

The engine has been treated to a new 3.6L Mahle Euro barrel and piston set, a full rebuild with reworked heads, custom-grind high-duration cams, 993 dilavar head studs, a Cargraphic RSR valved exhaust and manifold, a Steve Wong chip, Rothsport billet crank pulley and pulley halves, a fan pulley, a shaved and smoothed intake manifold, an oil pump ported and polished for more flow, a ported IAC valve, and gold-plated hardware. That is only some of the gear from its extensive spec list.

On the exterior, it’s had a full glass-out respray in Glasurit’s Metallic Slate Grey, done by Concept GT. Features include a custom-molded rear bumper for rear turbo-style dual exits, shaved and deleted washer fluid jets, 9ELEVEN Raven headlights, a RUF front lip, Porsche RS front bumper ducts, and 993 door handles.

On the suspension side, of course, he’s gone with Airlift Performance air struts and management. The controller is seamlessly integrated into the driver’s sun visor, replacing the original mirror.

And finally, the wheels are BBS RS, stepped 16 inches to 18 inches with gloss black lips, satin black centers, and black hardware (18 by 8.5/10 inches), built by ewheelworks.

For a car that looks “simple” at first glance, there is an absolute mammoth spec list of modifications and work done to it. by @jbbrock2

Some JB sauce from Mondays Set. The yearly sandstorm made the sunset interesting.
