24-25 season has been a year of ups and downs in all aspects of my family’s life. Just like in the woods one day it all comes together and makes the rough days worth it. Christmas was the crown jewel of his year. He loved it with a child like faith I can’t say I’ve ever seen since he left. His infectious laugh filled that house or anywhere he was. I love Christmas always have because of him, but it’s much more melancholy spirit in some sense. No matter how old I am, there will be a part of me that will forever be that blonde little boy standing knee deep in that cypress slough with him. by @jbear1919
