10+ Years. 30 Lean Pounds. Endless Phases. 💪🏾

From 155 lbs skinny fat ➡️ cutting down obsessed with abs ➡️ bulking up even to fat ➡️ losing 45 lbs to get lean again — I’ve been through it all.

Dirty bulks. Extreme cuts. Building. Losing. Rebuilding. 🔁

Now sitting at my most comfortable and strongest weight around 180-185 lbs, with over 30 lean lbs of muscle added through a decade of work.

The journey isn’t linear. It’s filled with highs, lows, and constant change. But resilience, adaptation, and trust in the process always win. 💯

Never stop evolving. Never stop pushing. ‼️

Growth doesn’t always look like progress while you’re living through it. The setbacks. The uncertainty. The moments you question whether any of it is paying off will indeed be a return on your investment.💰

One day, you might look back and realize how much this chapter taught you. 🤝🏾

Focus on these ⬇️

1️⃣ CHOOSE EXERCISES WITH PURPOSE

Every exercise should serve a purpose. Whether you’re trying to bring up a lagging body part, build muscle, or increase strength, your exercise selection should align with YOUR goals.

Build your workouts around effective movements that complement one another. You don’t need every variation of an exercise in one session.

2️⃣ MAKE EVERY SET COUNT

Focus on proper execution, controlled reps, a consistent range of motion, and training with enough effort to challenge your muscles.

Whether you’re performing 6 reps or 15, the goal is to make those reps productive. Choose a weight that challenges you while allowing you to maintain good technique.

3️⃣ GET STRONGER OVER TIME

This is where progressive overload comes in. Your body adapts to the demands you place on it. As you improve, your training needs to provide enough challenge to continue driving adaptation.

That could mean:
• Increasing the weight while maintaining proper form.
• Performing more reps with the same weight.
• Improving control, technique, or range of motion.
• Gradually increasing productive training volume

4️⃣ STAY CONSISTENT

One of the biggest mistakes I see is people constantly switching routines before giving them enough time to produce results.

I like structuring training around 12-week cycles, keeping core exercises consistent so progress can actually be measured.

Evaluate your performance every 3–4 weeks. Adjust weights, reps, sets, or exercise variations when needed, but don’t feel obligated to change everything just because a few weeks have passed.

The early mornings. The discipline. The little things we do for ourselves when nobody’s watching. The routine is what shapes us.

Don’t wait until you’ve reached the next goal to appreciate the life you’re building right now.

There’s beauty in the process too. 🖤

I swear switching gyms every now and then keeps training fun. 😂

Walking back into my regular gym after a week always feels like my presence was missed. 😎

Anyone else bounce between gyms, or are you loyal to one? 👀
