POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The more color matched your setup, the more middle it shoots. It’s like science!

After years of searching I was able to track down a doz of the OG @eastonarchery Eclipse 2712’s. Add in some @competitionarcheryproducts 250gr indoor ballistic black edition points, @beiterarchery 19-2 hunters, and fletch them with @aaearchery 40 Hybrids; it’s pretty
much the easy button to a performing indoor setup.

This is everything between me and a mountain goat. 🐐

Every ounce has a job. There’s a lot of thought that goes into deciding what goes and what doesn’t.

I’ll be tagging all the companies behind the gear. But if you see something on this table you want me to explain, ask away.

Sometimes your expectations are your biggest obstacle.

Going into the Independence shoot, I wasn’t sure what to expect with very little practice leading up to it. But by the end of the weekend, I had shot higher scores than I expected on a course that was tougher than I remember it ever being.

I’ll take that as a win. And as proof that progress isn’t always measured by how much you think you’ve prepared. Sometimes it’s about trusting the work you’ve already put in.

There’s still plenty to improve on, but this was definitely a step in the right direction.

Tournament season has been unreal so far.
The Rumble. Foley. Utah Open. Vegas. Redding.

Highs, lows, many lessons, and a whole lot of arrows shot. But we’re not done yet.

For now, it’s time to trade the Concept X for the Guide Gun. See you in a month

Redding is a wrap.
Battled a 3rd axis issue through day one and half of day two. Once it was fixed, I only dropped one point. Lessons learned. Already building a plan for next year.

Spring bear was a great proving ground. The setup is dialed and I’m ready for Redding. I had a blast shooting with a great crew. Hopping on a plane tonight.
See you in Redding.

Finally back home from the Vegas Shoot.

Day 1, I struggled to execute and it showed in Friday’s score.
Day 2, I came in with a stronger mental plan, and it paid off. Shooting a 300 (24X), I finally broke that Championship 300 barrier.

The $10K a day shoot-off was an absolute blast. I made it to the 3rd round alongside just 13 others before an unfortunate arrow kick ended my run.

Sunday was solid overall, but one mental mistake cost me.

Finished the weekend with an 898 and a lot of lessons learned, and a renewed hunger to #BeBetter.

Next stop: Redding.
See you there.
