Let me start by saying, this is NOT just another fishing video!🐟🐟...to me anyway. I made it for the crew as my way of saying thank you for such a memorable trip. 3 years ago when my right arm was paralyzed, i was in a wheel chair , and tipping the scales at over 500lbs I had come to believe my life was over. My 1st thought was how am I going to wipe my own ass.. the 2nd thing ..ill never be able to rig baits again 😢. Well here we are. 6 years later..300lbs less...2 new knees and and a hand with more than 50% feeling... on a boat for the first time since 2020. But this trip to the canyon was different than the dozens and dozens of others over the years. I was seeing it through a different lens. That 6 week coma changed something in me as a person. It was like being out there for the first time...and seeing my first sunset. Although the fishing wasnt great..we still managed to pick up a tuna and a white marlin. It wasnt till i was back home that i realized the trip wasnt about the Big yellowfin and Bigeye tuna🐟 . It was about getting back to that one thing i truly enjoy in life, forming new bonds..and building back my confidence. And reminding me why i fell in love with this crazy activity in the first place. Who would of thought? One minute i cant feed myself....Not in my wildest dreams would i have thought i would ever bill another marlin 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙌🏻. Refuse to quit and anything is possible. I wanted to share this video because some people will never get to experience what a lot of us take for granted and for you to see the trip the way I saw it THIS time. @b.jags21 @captweezy @jmalf38 #fishing #marlin #tuna #offshorefishing #yellowfintuna by @jbesade

Want to wish my brother from another @theonly_arcangel a Happy 45th birthday! We may be from different sacks but I’ve always got your back. You’ve filled a void in my life that’s been missing for a long time, you have been there for every major event in my life, you were the first person I remember seeing when I woke up from my coma, you were the first person that was there when I stood up for the first time. And you were always there to kick my ass out of the chair and make me walk on the days where I was having a pity party and didn’t want to move. Love you, bro. Enjoy your birthday. by @jbesade
