Huge congratulations to Makynlee Gibson! @makgib19

Makynlee made her Yellow Belt Super Fight debut at @_elevate_submission_series__ this weekend and walked away with the W by decision! 🏆

It was an incredibly competitive match from start to finish with a top tier opponent.

All the hard work at Labyrinth is paying off

Makynlee @makgib19 went to Long Beach, CA for one mission, to become a World Champion. Well she did it!!! She did it in both Gi and No-Gi divisions to become a two time World Champ in her age and weight class. So proud of this girl. She trains for hours everyday and her hard work and dedication are paying off. She fought three different previous World and/or Pans champs and beat them all to win her titles. She also holds first place in points, submissions and wins for Jiu Jitsu World League for all juveniles in 2025 and she’s quickly climbing the all time ranks. by @jbird8791

Competed at Jiu Jitsu World League this weekend. Made some small but critical errors and had some good moments too. Just a check point in my long journey though. Ended up earning third with a bronze medal. For now, it’s back on the mats to learn with my awesome teammates and from my amazing professors @labyrinthbjjfulshear @makgib19 by @jbird8791
