These @gatewaydiscsports @evanbdiscgolfin elements just go far. My favorite flip up to flat and push mid. Give it some height with the nose down and it'll just keep going. Really workable disc playing with different release angles 👌 by @jbirdthrows

PA States. Went out for my first A tier. It was a 2 day event and I had a lot of fun camping out for it with @evanbdiscgolfin and @ferrarriiii

Leaned heavily on my @birdiediscgolfsupplyco strike for a lot of drives and marvels for throwing and putting also my @gatewaydiscsports element, warrior and devilhawk. Also my trail was a hot driver all weekend

Day 1 started off with a birdie on a 350ft downhill shot and a converted 15ft putt. That first birdie out of the way I felt like I could breathe a little. Buuuut 😂 in my typical fashion I find ways to give them back. I made some mistakes but minimized them and corrected well on the fly. Overall I was very happy with it, leaving me T2 in the standings of MA40 with 16ish players

Day 2 I couldn't find a clean shot off the tee, and couldn't find the correction either like on day 1. My upshots and putting were there so I salvaged my round, still shooting above my rating even though I left so much out there and should have been much better. I couldn't find any groove to make a push for first. Finished T5 with a 918 rated event. Can I nit pick all 3 rounds and come up with the strokes to have given me the win? Absolutely. Probably 4 times over again. But you learn and move on to the next one

My next one is getting my ass kicked this weekend at LVO. I've put together some decent 900+ rated rounds, which is more where I feel like I should be and looking to continue that by @jbirdthrows

Got my first sedgley tags win. With a strong field too. Usually I'm a blowup hole or two(or three lol) away from being up there for a chance. So it felt really good to finally get one with a pretty complete round for me. Drives felt really good, putting felt even better, hitting a bunch of circles edge or just outside c1. The 3 holes I got 4s on, could have easily been 5s or worse but my up shots were all good when they needed to be or I hit a putt

The annoying part: I wasn't even going to go... I've been feeling a bit stale playing tags lately, even when I'm playing well. So I threw some random discs that I'm familiar with into my glow bag(holds like 8 discs lol) instead of using my cart and usual discs 🙄 sometimes you just gotta switch things up, even if it's just slightly to keep some comfort but also make yourself do things a little different and actually think instead of running on auto pilot

Work horses for that round:
My @birdiediscgolfsupplyco marvel, base plastic for putting and @paulmcbethfoundation infinity plastic for throwing. Also their glow strike

Love my marvels from @birdiediscgolfsupplyco
Was feeling pretty good in my putting before I switched from the pure, but the marvel just seems to give me a little extra tick of confidence for some reason. Probably because I throw them too so there's familiarity

Side note: it's weird taking video while playing. I just forget to record and then throw awesome(mediocre) shots, or just delete most things cause they aren't awesome 😂

Like do we even care about seeing tee shots on a par 4 where you can't see the basket or even where the disc lands? Do we record only holes you ace run? How fast am I supposed to delete footage of an early tree hit and skip recording that hole? Immediately? Or when I get home like I did this time? I have questions

Got me a birthday ace yesterday! Flicked my tempo on hole 10 sedgley blues and it looked in the whole way. Had 9 people come play a little mob golf, and shout out Sonny(aka Slug Media) still coming out and filming since he's hurt and can't play. Sad day when @sedgley_woods glow season comes to an end. Had a good season. A ton of fun, a lot of good partners, groups to play with and weeks either won or placing in top 3 to get points and wound up winning b pool. I think there was an average of 40 players per week over 21 weeks

🦅🦅GO BIRDS!!!🦅🦅
Picture didn't come out the greatest, I can't even make myself out(way bottom right) 😂 but this past Friday to celebrate the super bowl victory and parade day, 11 of us met up at 4:30-5am for a glow round @sedgley_woods ! 2 parade aces happened out there so magic was in the air for such an amazing day!

We finished up, pregamed up at the picnic tables while other sedgley people showed up and then we all walked down to the art museum. Most of us getting separated immediately 😂 was a great time with thousands of strangers within 100ft of me just having a blast celebrating. Hopefully this becomes a regular thing 🦅🦅 taken in Sedgley Woods Disc Golf by @jbirdthrows

I'm a bit of a mutt bag, but if I had to pick 6 discs from my bag that have been absolute staples I think these would be it. They're the ones I reach for 9 times out of 10. Top row left to right and bottom row left to right:

-- @innovadiscs Star Wraith 173g
-- Innova Star Jay @greggbarsby 180g
-- @gatewaydiscsports Glow NXT Element @evanbdiscgolfin 179g
-- @mvpdiscsports Soft Neuron "Banana Club" Glitch @_broderic_ @bodanzadiscgolf 153g
-- @birdiediscgolfsupplyco All Weather Marvel @jakewolff_dg 173g
-- Gateway Glow Houdini 173g

Two get honorable mentions cause they're great discs that I love and throw them almost as much as the others. But it's cut throat out here 😂

-- @discraftdiscgolf Z BuzzzSS @cosmicdiscgolf 175g
-- Axiom Neutron Crave @sarahhokom 168g these are domey compared to other craves I've had

If you haven't tried any of these, the hell are you doing? 😂 try them, like them by @jbirdthrows
