A Calgary-made film with a global message. Last night at SAIT, I attended a special screening of Help Is on the Way, exploring how access to reliable energy can transform lives in communities from Peru to Canada’s North. Loved seeing Calgary filmmaker Mathew Embry and Muster Point Productions bring these important stories to the screen, followed by a thought-provoking panel on energy poverty. A powerful reminder that energy is about people, opportunity and quality of life.

A little peek inside a dream, with a much bigger purpose behind it. 🤍

So thankful to have been invited to experience the Alberta Cancer Foundation Lottery Dream Home and spend the evening exploring this incredible space. And as if touring a $2.9M dream home wasn’t enough, we were treated to a special performance by Brett Kissel, definitely one of those is this really happening? moments.

The beautiful rooms, great company and a pretty unforgettable evening, the “Who is your ticket for?” wall filled with names. It made me think about my own answer. My ticket is for my Aunt Patsy, who we lost to cancer many years ago, far too quickly and unexpectedly. 🤍

Every ticket helps support cancer research, treatment, innovation and patient care for Albertans facing cancer.

Grateful to have been a small part of such a beautiful evening and to help share the story behind it.

My newest hobby is aging well!

Earlier this year I started noticing little changes..energy, recovery, my body just feeling… different (thanks perimenopause 🥸)

So instead of ignoring it, I’m getting curious about it.

Tonight was Day 1 of my @leelalongevity Compass journey, getting a baseline of where my body is actually at and learning what I can do now for future me.

Not trying to stop aging. Just planning on being really good at it.

What a way to end Innovate Canada 🇨🇦

Destination Canada truly went above and beyond tonight at La Chapelle Spectacles, an incredible dinner by Fairmont, beautiful live music and so many thoughtful touches.

It didn’t feel like just another event. It felt warm, personal and genuinely Canadian.
