🍷✨ Had the best day yesterday celebrating @jthamlin13 birthday a little early with a winery day!

We started at @dynamisestatewines and then made our way to @raffaldini, the perfect combination of beautiful scenery, incredible wine, and even better company.

It was so nice to step away from the everyday, slow down, relax, catch up, and celebrate a very special friend. Days like this are always a reminder to make time for the people who matter most. 🥂

Happy 13 year wedding anniversary @jblackley1 🥰

From high school sweethearts to building a life filled with unforgettable adventures, countless memories, and so much love, every chapter has been better than the last. Through every season our love has only grown deeper. You are my best friend, my greatest blessing, and my favorite adventure.

Thank you for choosing me every day and for creating a life that’s even more beautiful than I ever imagined. I’m endlessly grateful for the relationship we’ve built and all the memories we’ve shared. If the last 20 years together have taught me anything, it’s that the best is still ahead of us.

It’s a big day for these 4 week old chicks - they went to the integration station last night! Shoutout to @jblackley1 who made my vision come to life so that the chicks can safely begin to learn coop life before we fully introduce them to the big girls. The integration station is more than double their brooder size so plenty of room for them to explore and rest, plus the nesting boxes were lowered, added more roosting bars up top and added a sh*t shelf under the roosting bars for easier clean up. Once the chicks are fully integrated we will open up the front, so they still have the space within but it can also be used for any broody hen or if a hen needs to be separated she can go in this space too rather than in the garage. Happy 3 weeks + 3 days to the chicks! Since the 2 week celebration post, the girls are growing fast! They are roosting more including on top of the waterer, learning more about the day/night cycles, and no longer need the heating plate (also thanks to these insane temps). The cross beak chick is eating well but her beak continues to progress so I am monitoring closely and unfortunately the littlest chick who I was worried about from the last post, passed away. Very grateful for 14 healthy chicks still thriving and who will be very ready to go into the integration station in the coop very soon! by @jblackley1

📍 Monsoon Asian Grill and Sushi, Mooresville, NC // Year three of our in-home sushi party with @monsoonasiangrillandsushi, and somehow it gets better every single time! 🥢✨

Jonah and Kim absolutely crushed it once again as we hosted 30 guests for an incredible evening filled with made-to-order sushi rolls and so many delicious menu favorites. We enjoyed crab rangoons, shrimp tempura, chicken satay, fried rice, hibachi steak with vegetables, and so much more.

One of the best parts is watching everything come together fresh while your guests mingle and enjoy the experience. It’s interactive, delicious, and such a unique way to entertain at home. We had the absolute best time and can’t wait to do it again next year! by @jblackley1

Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final was absolutely electric! 🏒🔥 Watching the @canes grab another win and take the series lead made the night even sweeter.

We were lucky enough to attend Game 5 back in 2006 when the Canes made their last Stanley Cup run, so being back in the building 20 years later to experience this moment felt full circle.

Less then 24 hours before puck drop, we bought the tickets and road-tripped Thursday to Raleigh. We had incredible seats with a fantastic view that put us right in the middle of all the action. From the energy in the arena to the roar of the crowd after every big play, it was one of those experiences we’ll be talking about for a long time.
